CHAPTER 17

Luca’s Pov I sat at the table and held Sienna’s hand under it. Victor looked at us with cold eyes. “So you two say this marriage is real. Prove it. Tell me why I should believe you after all the lies.” Sienna spoke first. “Victor, I love Luca. He is my husband. We talk every day about our future. That is real.” I added, “Dad, she changed me. I do not think about the past anymore. Only her and our family.” Victor laughed short. “Family? Your stories do not match. Clara, what do you think?” Clara looked between us. “They seem happy, Victor. Let them be. This dinner is getting too tense.” Victor shook his head. “No. I got another message. The real Damian says he is ready to come back. Sienna, what will you do then?” Sienna turned to me fast. “Luca, tell him. I choose you.” I looked at Victor. “She is my wife. We built this together. The crash changed everything, but our love is true now.” Victor leaned closer. “Love? Or a cover for your games? I checked the company accounts. Money is missing. Explain that, Damian. Or Luca. Whoever you are.” Drama rose high. I felt my heart beat fast. “Dad, I handled some business. For the family good. Sienna knows about it. We have no secrets.” Sienna nodded. “Yes. He tells me everything. We are partners.” Victor smiled mean. “Partners? Ethan called me again. He says you two fight a lot. He offered proof.” I gripped Sienna’s hand tighter. “Ethan lies. He wants her back. Sienna, tell him.” Sienna said clear, “Ethan is just a friend from before. I told him not many times. I love Luca. I blocked his number.” Victor checked his phone. “Too late. Ethan is outside now. He wants to talk to Sienna alone.” Clara cut in. “Victor, this is wrong. Stop bringing outsiders into family dinner.” I looked at Sienna. “Do not go. Stay with me.” Sienna replied, “I am not going. Luca is my husband. Ethan needs to stop.” Victor stood up a little. “Let him in. Let us hear the truth.” I said loud, “No. This is our life. It's not a show for you.” The door opened. A waiter brought a note. Victor read it and laughed. “Real Damian sent this. He says Sienna was his first. She will choose right when she sees him.” Sienna got angry. “That is a lie. I never met the real Damian. Luca is the man I married. Luca is the one I love.” I turned to her. “You mean that? Even with all this clash?” Sienna looked straight at me. “Yes. I mean it. You are my real husband. No one else.” Victor sat back down. “Nice words. But actions matter. Sienna, if the real Damian walks in now, what do you say?” Sienna answered, “I say I am taken. I love Luca. Our marriage is not fake anymore.” I felt warm inside. “Thank you. I love you too. You make me strong against all this.” Clara said, “See Victor? They support each other. Stop the games.” My phone buzzed. I checked it quickly. Ethan again. “Sienna, I am here. Come out.” I showed her. “More drama from him.” Sienna took the phone and typed fast. “Ethan, go home. I am happy with Luca. Stop this.” She sent it and gave the phone back. “Done. No more.” Victor watched us. “You two act well. But I know more. Noah’s debt. Roman Vescovi. All connected.” I replied, “I paid it to help my wife. That is what family does.” Sienna added, “Yes. Luca saved Noah. He saves me every day from old problems.” Victor asked, “And Isabella? Your secret sister? When do I meet her?” I said, “Soon. When it is safe. Sienna wants to meet her too. We plan a real family.” Sienna smiled at me. “Yes. I want Isabella here. We talked about her a lot.” Clara tried again. “Victor, enough questions. Eat and talk normal.” Victor ignored her. “One more thing. The plane crashed. You remember nothing but suddenly you changed. Sienna, does that not worry you?” Sienna said, “At first, yes. But Luca opened up. We trust each other now. No more doubts.” I looked at Victor. “Dad, believe us or not. Our love is here. Real.” Another message came to Victor’s phone. He read it out. “Damian is in the building. He wants his wife back.” Drama got bigger. I felt clash inside. “This is too much. Someone plays with us.” Sienna held my arm. “Luca, stay calm. We are okay. Tell me you believe me.” I said, “I believe you. But this makes me mad. Ethan. Messages. Victor’s tests.” Sienna replied, “I know. But we talk it out. Like always.” Victor smiled. “You two whisper a lot. Share with the table.” Clara said, “Victor, they are husband and wife. Let them have moments.” I spoke up. “We say we want peace. After this dinner, we go home and plan our future. No more old stories.” Sienna added, “Yes. Kids someday. A quiet life. With you out of our business, Victor.” Victor raised his eyebrows. “Bold words, Sienna.” I jumped in. “She is right. We want simple. Our love. Our family.” Clara nodded. “I support that. They are good together.” Victor got one more call. He answered, short, then hung up. “Ethan is leaving. But he says he will send more proof tomorrow.” Sienna looked at me. “We delete it all. Right, Luca?” I said, “Yes. Together. No more drama from him.” I kissed her hand. “I love you. This clash makes me sure.” Sienna said, “I love you more. We win this.” Victor watched. “We will see who wins. Dinner is not over.”
