Luca’s POV
We finally made it back to the Vale mansion. Not as prisoners or impostors this time. The papers we found gave us enough leverage to force a temporary peace. Gabriel backed off for now. Victor too. The agreement was in our hands. No more immediate threats. At least for a few days.
The big house felt different. Quieter. Sienna walked beside me through the front doors, her hand in mine. Noah and her mom went to the guest wing to rest. Isabella had a room close to mine. Ethan and Damian stayed in the city for now, keeping eyes on things.
It was just us mostly. Me and Sienna. My wife.
I closed the heavy door behind us. The click sounded final. Like the start of something new.
“You okay?” I asked her.
She smiled up at me. Tired but real. “Better now that we’re here.
