Darya had followed the railroad along the industrial zone, then close to the houses, and finally joined the Tom, spanned by a rail bridge. Now, two solutions were available to her: cross along the rails, at the risk of seeing a train appear in front of her, or try her luck further upstream, on one of the two highway bridges that served the city.
