HUNTER chuckled. "You had just accepted Calisha's apology, and now, you're the one who has to say sorry with Matthew?"
“I’m sorry. I wasn’t careful. I didn’t—”
“Okay. Apology accepted.”
My jaw dropped when Matthew said that, and now, he’s even—I’m not sure if it really is, but he’s like smiling. That smile without showing the teeth, only the slight curve on the lips. It looks like he’s holding it.
