Chapter twenty-nine - Perfect chef
Melanie's POV: Mom and I officially got invited for dinner at Jordan's house. I think he felt sympathy for her after what happened at the diner at home. My parents sorted things out. On the next day, they went out for the night. Dad might not be good at everything, but he knows how to make my mom happy. She was glowing when she came back. I have no idea what happened, but I like seeing her happy. She deserves it. I can ask my dad what he did. I might do something similar for my boyfriend. We spend time together every day, but it doesn't mean I can't do some things for him. After all, he is taking care of me daily. I don't know what I would've done without him.
