“ Boys! We go together. “ Jake yelled.
In response to his command, the minions plunged forward. They attacked Alisa from all sides, sparing her not even a second for strategizing. It was an all out tactic.
Their momentum caused an assault of gushing wind on Alisa, causing her hair and dress to flutter wildly in ally with it, creating a somewhat artistic scene. Alas the only viewers present were the damsel in distress; Prisca, and the ruthless ruffians’ leader; Jake, who backed away after yelling; “ Boys! Let go together. “ earlier.
He was quick to perceive the weirdness of Alisa from the earlier battle between her and one of his underlings. Plus her never changing confident demeanor and her fiery-level aggressive aura. All added up to the deduction that things might not proceed as smoothly as he and his minions had thought.
Hence, he couldn't take the risk. He choose to send forth his minions as canon folders to test the waters, while he stood back and observed.
Meanwhile, Alisa faced the all-round assault without a slight diminish in her confident bearing. The only visible change in her was; her expression became a lot calmer and her eyes developed a flashing glint. She looked no different from a mathematics genius solving some sort of outstanding calculations. This caused the already wary Jake to develop even more goosebumps.
As for the boys, they drew closer to Alisa.
Just as they got even closer, the calculative glint on Alisa’s gaze receded. What replaced it was clarity. She had made a decision.
Like a tiger leaping towards it’s prey, she plunged forward boldly; quickly switching from passive to active state.
Her first target was a ruffian approaching from a diagonal angle.
Seeing her approach, the assaulted let out a smirk. ‘ As expected ‘ he thought. He had had a hunch that he was the target from the moment she made a move. Hence, he was on alert.
Within the circle of the hooligans, he was third only after the leader; Jake, and the second in command, when it came to actual physical confrontation. He refused to believe a lass could actually overpower him. That was simply delusional.
“ Girl, your games are over. “ The leader; Jake, spoke with a smirk as he scanned Alisa’s face in search of a frightened expression or something akin. No matter what, he refused to believe she could still keep up her confident facade in the face of real threats. She was no robot. She had to at the least be frightened silly.
Alas, what he sort remained unfound. Alisa’s expression remained as clear as ever. She didn’t seem one bit shaken, to talk of frightened by the incoming clash. Instead, a glint of intelligence and confidence shimmered within the deep layers of her eyes. To her, the winner of the clash was already decided before it began.
While the minion braved forward unscrupulously with the hope of overpowering her with raw strength, he had skipped the process of at least creating a strategy to proceed with. He simply underestimated her too much. Thus, he was the best target.
To the shock of the viewers, not excluding Prisca. Alisa’s pace suddenly skyrocketed, breezing through the space between her and her target. In less than a jiffy, she was before her dumbstruck target. And in another, her fist was slammed on his belly.
Still in shock, he couldn’t block or evade her fist. Thus he was blown backwards, reflexly plunging onto the ground forcefully.
“ You! Ahhhh! “ He tried to speak but ended up grunting in pain. Then he passed out.
“ …. “
The remaining charging minions paused. They felt chills run down their spines.
‘ So strong. ‘ Prisca thought.
Jake was no exception to the shock chain. He was as shock as the rest of the individuals present. He struggled to understand how the third most physically capable person in his crew was defeated so easily. Though he was aware the minion had underestimated her, it was still a bit far fetched for her to take him down so easily. Yet she did.
Even with the first defeat of one of his minion, he couldn’t say he took her completely seriously. But now, he didn’t dare to not.
The minions still stared at the scene in shock. No one dared to step forward anymore. This lass before them was just to nature defying.
But Jake snapped out of it pretty quick. Right from the start, from the moment Alisa intervened, he could already tell she was bad news. Thus he had long prepared himself for something like this.
“ Boys, don’t stand down. This lass is indeed weird. But we can’t stop. We can’t afford to. Let’s do it this way; everyone attack together, don’t give her any breathing space. Let me see whether she can defy reality once more. “ Jake motivated his boys while he backed away slowly.
Hearing his words, his boys charged forward once more, in a uniform speed. The aim was to get to her together before she got the chance to make any sudden move to take another one of them down. Two of their fellows had already been taken down by the lass thus, they couldn’t afford to be negligent.
Seeing their momentum, Alisa knew she wouldn’t be able to make any sudden counterattack anymore.
“ I guess it’s time for the main event. “ She muttered.
Soon, the trio got to her. The fight began. Alas, contrary to their expectations, the fight ended pretty quick. Only one of the minions was left.
A bit scared, he turned to run away. But on the route out stood his dreaded boss. Seeing his boss expression, he knew trying to escape won’t end well for him. Thus he decided to make one last move on Alisa, and then get hit so he play dead. That way he could have a sweet route out of this mess.
“ Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh “ He yelled as he charged at Alisa. His fist contained almost no force as his aim was not to fight.
Getting to Alisa, ‘ Please don’t hit me hard, please don’t. ‘ He kept muttering within.
Soon, he was before her. Then he threw his feint punch and shut his eyes closed. He waited patiently to be countered and then attacked fiercely by Alisa. Alas, it never came. Instead;
“ * Scream * “ A scream resounded.
“ Be careful. “ Prisca yelled anxiously.
