Vannette met Maya packing the leftovers in a to go pack.
"Oh my. My sisters are the best, helping me out with the bakery,such devotion to the bakery.", Vannette chuckled mocking them.
"Awe,don't worry no need to be jealous. We left some work for you too, so you could show your devotion too.", Naya said teasingly.
Vannette immediately stopped chuckling,and frowned. "Arghhh! You brats!"
»The next day«
Today,was the day she would deliver the tasting pastries for the hotel and the contract signing. Derick volunteered to assist Naya and Maya in the bakery, although the girls could handle it on their own. He insisted on helping them out.
Vannette got down from the taxi and paid the driver off. She looked at the hotel and uttered a silent prayer before walking into the building.
She was welcomed in, by the greek god's assistant. "Welcome ma'am,sir is already waiting for you. Follow me, Miss Vannette isn't it?", The woman said friendly and in a welcoming manner.
" Ah yes,yes I am . ", Vannette returned her welcoming smile,with a smile. They walked to the office. The assistant knocked on the door, "Come in.", She heard the man's dangerous voice from the inside,like he was not in the mood for any visitors .
After the tasting ,the contract signing, Vannette was officially the distributor of their pastries.
But,damn he was good-looking. s**t. She did not even wanna look at his face,cause if she did,she would be drunk on his beauty.
»The next day«
Due to the rough handling of the previous pastries,and the shipping,they did not look good,in fact,they were destroyed!, The effect of shipping pastries through a taxi,I mean,there are holes that the driver had to bump into, because,the road she would have to pass through to get to the main city,was not in its best days as the raining season just passed .

" Obviously,I know you aren't blind!, You can see the state of this pastries. ", The Greek god shouted.
" I am really sorry,there were alot of loopholes on the road,and the driver bumped towards them,he could not avoid them. I am once again sorry.", She apologized with a lowered head. She really shows remorse.
" You would start making the pastries from our bakery!, it has not been used for years though,We cannot afford any other mistakes like this,well you cannot afford it !", The Greek god said in the most straightforward and bluntest way.
But,the pay was really nice, weighing the pros and cons, she accepted.

When Vannette arrived at the bakery ,she was immediately hugged by Naya and Maya, "Sissy,we missed you!, Derick has been so annoying.", Maya immediately complained.
"I am here !, I know Derick can be a blockhead, sometimes. Well most of the times, honestly.", Vannette laughed as she embraced them,she felt a nudge on her shoulder,Derick had playfully punched her,it was his first was his shoulder punches,second was his glare and his third, was tickles !
"Sorry,but you know it's the truth !", She stuck her tongue out at her best friend, Derick.
"Yeah yeah,we are both blockheads.", Derick joked.
"Oh,I almost forgot,I have bad news,kinda.", Vannette began.
