" We should grab something to eat , first . " , Derick suggested .
" Yeah, we should . ", Vannette seconded, the wind blew freezing .
She rubbed her hands together, trying to bring up the heat. Noticing this, Derick pulled his jacket and wrapped it around her shoulders .
" Thank you . ", She smiled at him seeing his concerned look and caring gesture, his jacket did bring a different kind of warmth to her, a warmth that she never wanted to depart from, then she began to worry , " What if you get cold ? ", She was about to take off the jacket .
" Ehn , don't worry keep the jacket , if I get cold , I would hold you tightly , you would be my source of warmth . ", He smiled back with his heartrob smile .
She blushed at this, " Oh, curry . Let's get curry soup and rice . It's been a long time since I ate it . ", Vannette said noticing the curry vendor.
" Me too . ", They walked to the curry vendor hand in hand , settling down on a bench , she ate the food slowly , like it was some sort of art work .
" You definitely like the like the food . ", Derick laughed.
" How do you know that ? ", Vannette upped a brow, actually she loved the food , but how'd he know that ?
" You have the look in your eyes , that look that tells someone when you really love a dish . " , She blushed as Derick mimicked the face she just made .[ (ノ^_^)ノ]
She punched his shoulder as she was red due to the embarrassment, " Not not cool ! " , Vannette commented .
" It seems pretty cool to me , that's the exact face you make . ", Derick teased .
To change the topic , she quickly talked at random . " So, how's everything ? " , She asked.
" It's fine . ", He dryly replied. " Oh okay . " .
" Did you know that there is this anime fest coming to town ! , I am so siked bro ! ", Vannette told him, as her and Derick had a lot of things in common , but they were totally suckers for animations !, Well Derick was a sucker for animations . Vannette was just a sucker for the anime guys.
" Seriously ?, I won't miss it for the world ! ", His eyes widened with suprise,this was the first ever anime fest in their city but the ticket was soo expensive , she could only joke about it and dream of it .
" Don't worry, you would be my date , for that . ", Vannette whispered and smiled at him and he smiled back and said , " Stupid , who else would your date be , except for the handsome dude sitting beside you . "
" Oh. And, i got you this . ", Derick shyly handed her the bracelet, it was a wooven bracelet with a brownish plate on it, in the plate it read ; V + D . That was Vannette + Derick. It was really beautiful.
" What tha mushroom ! . It's really wonderful, beautiful ! ", She gave him a peck on his cheek and continued staring at the bracelet .
Poor poor Derick was over the moon with the sudden gesture from his crush. If just a casual date with her would land him a peck from his crush, why not take her out on dates a lot if times .

AUTHOR'S NOTE- And, this is another reason why you should not let your girlfriends watch anime, then you would have to compete with Itachi, Goku, Gojo , Erin, the entire cast of Tokyo revengers and the entire cast of haikyuu. ( They are just really handsome male anime characters. ) , Plus : don't even bother competing you're not up to them . ( Hahahaha . ) .
