Callie's POV I didn’t move for a while after closing my bedroom door. The house was still humming with the sounds of Christmas. Jenna was laughing downstairs, there was faint music playing somewhere, but my room felt quieter and smaller. Like the air had shifted. I sat on the edge of my bed first. That was when I noticed it. A box. It wasn’t sitting boldly in the centre of my bed like some dramatic gift reveal. It was placed at the corner of my dressing table, half hidden behind my perfume tray.
