The moment I pulled away from the kiss, I didn’t move immediately. My lips still tingled, my chest rising and falling faster than normal as I watched him.
Dominic didn’t look away from me at first. His eyes stayed on mine for a second longer, darker than usual, like he was holding himself back from pulling me right back into him.
