A small lumisphere accompanied Tijhran through the dark corridor. A cold draft weaved around his bare feet, but he had left no window open in the evening. No sound disturbed the quiet house, but an unwanted guest wouldn’t reveal his or her presence so easily, contrary to himself, who didn’t bother with silence or lack of light. As he reached the main corridor, a slight breeze made him turn toward the small balcony at the side.
