Chapter 33: All Hail The King II

Explosions everywhere, every houses destroyed by the mad unknown creature. They manage to enter the human kingdom and start to rampage their way, many soldiers have been injured and the barrier is weakening.

"Tch, there is no end to them"

"Me and my friends will deal with the caster you stay here protect your kingdom"

"Thanks Ray"

Ray and the others immediately headed towards the caster, it's positioned on the back line so they must cross the field full of unknown and mad creature. it's so hard to deal with them because they will explode when their body is dead.

"Ray this creature"

"I know at first it was just my imagination after recalling the memory we had I remember it clearly, it's a demon"

"What? demon, are you kidding me"

This is new for Bell because he didn't know this creature is a demon. Ray cut the conversation and promise he will explain everything to Bell but for now they will focus on defeating the caster.

But thanks to them, the enemy started to targeted them. All of the demon shifted their focus to Ray and his friends Ray also signaling them to don't shoot at them just focus on the enemy that already got inside the human kingdom.

Jaz understand and he inform the captain, Jargan the human kingdom soldier captain is in charge in this defense. At first he hesitate about the decision that given by some outsider but to confirm it, he headed to the entrance gate and watch Ray and his friends handle the enemy.

"Oh my that zombie, how can he become so fast, hm nevermind as long they don't fall first it's okay for us"

After confirm it by himself, he immediately give the order to the caster to shift their attack on the enemy that already inside the kingdom. Now it's time for the captain to get involve, he can't just stand there watching his subordinates struggling against the suicide maniac creature.

'Absolute space'

A giant barrier has been activate by the captain, when casted, any magic will be useless inside the 'absolute space' so they suicide technique will be useless.

"You guys can go now focus on stopping the fire from spreading"

"Understood!"

His barrier can also let his subordinates to escape to safety but for the unknown creature, they can't even touch the barrier once they touch they will turn into the ash. The creature think wil think twice after one of them has been turn into the ash.

The only way for them to escape is by defeating the caster of this skill, the unknown creature started to retreat a litlle, they open their hood just to show their face. Jargan eye starts to narrowing, he knows that creature but a surprise attack someone must been ordered them.

"All Hail The King"

The demon's body starts to twitch, it's like they're undergoing some sort of transformation but his instinct tell him to kill the demon before they finish their transformation.

Without wasting any time he draw his sword and started to kill them, his swings create some sort of aura that can cut through everything. The demon is not a complete fool. They know if they keep transforming they will die in any second, so some of the demon stop transforming and started to defending only one demon.

They started to ganging on Jargan, at first Jargan thought it will be easy but he was completely wrong. The demon is smart they use a hit and run technique it's just a simple technique but Jargan's leg start to stagger.

"What?"

The hit and run technique really effective to worn the enemy, Jargan know he must kill all the demon before they transform into something dangerous. It turns out his instinct telling him the truth, one of the demon has transform into a different creature.

"What the hell is that creature"

It seems smaller than the original form, the origina form was a bit bulky and big but after the transformation it become a bit smaller and less bulky. The aura also changed but it still incomplete because the demon need some sacrifice to fully awaken his power.

"I need more soul!!!"

The other demon who heard the new entity scream start to tremble, the scream just now is an order to his fellow comrade to commit suicide. The others start to stab themselves with their weapon, Jargan standing in the midst of sucide party.

He know what the demon's plan is but he couldn't do anything about it, rather than worrying he sits on the ground waiting for the demon to completey awaken. All the demons has commit suicide and the one who still standing has awaken.

"HAHAHAHA finally, hm what a nice barrier we have here"

"So what are you right now?"

"Ho, so you're the caster"

"Hey can you at least answer my question?"

"My how rude, you know, demon have their ranking and the rank I'm in now is General"

"Can you explain more about it?"

The demon start to scratch his forehead, he start to explain all the ranking of the demon. The lowes rank is servant and the highest ranking is King. Only one king can rule the whole demon, if there is other candidate the current king will fought against the candidate to proof his worth as a king.

But the demon can't reveal the name of the current king, the demon king prohibited them to reveal his name, so the demon apologize to Jargan because he can't reveal the name of the current king.

"The current demon you guys are fighting right now are army rank. Fortunately you guys can rest assured because there is no warlord join this raid, if the warlord decide to join this raid only your king can stop them."

"So what about the General rank?"

"We will see about that in a bit, but for now let me reveal the full rank of the demon. So order is like this servant>army>general>warlord>king and like I said earlier, there will be only one king, if the warlord has the potential to be the next king he can challenge the current king on duel."

"So they will fight until one of them is dead?"

"That's right, enough with conversation and let's fight"

Jargan stand up and draw his sword slowly but with the second thought he put his sword back and propose the demon general to fight him bare handed. The demon scratch his head and after giving some thoughts he accept the proposal to fight bare handed.

"Too bad if i kill you I won't be able to find another opponent"

"Tch your cockiness will lead you to your death"

"Heh, I hope you're not all bark but no bit-"

'Boom'

A punch to Jargan's ribs and without giving him a chace to recover the demon throw another punch to Jargan's face. Jargan stagger, the general rank is quite scary but he will not give up.

"Nice warm up there general"

"Heh come!"
