(Elara) You know those Sci-fi movies that are always filled with guns, cars tumbling over amidst fire and the world just going on in utter chaos. My night was like one of those movies. Gunfire cracked through the entire clearing, sparks tearing against the night as these soldiers poured in from every direction. I couldn’t think. Couldn’t breathe. All I could hear was the pounding in my chest and Camila’s muffled cries from the truck. I had come here for her. That was all I wanted, to see her safe. But the moment I left the bunker, the world turned into a nightmare. I didn’t know these people but I knew something for certain, they were here because of me. Somehow, I was the reason for all this chaos. It didn’t make sense as to why some people would come for me in the dead of the night.
