"I don't understand why you're still forcing me to marry Mikhayla," Alpha Brynmor grumbled after Alpha Devlin had left Grandmother Celeste's house.
"Perhaps your father has made an agreement with that woman's family. Your father is not a pushover unless he has a strong motive," commented Grandmother Celeste who had returned to the living room, apparently overhearing our conversation.
"Your grandmother is right, Alpha. You should have asked about Alpha Devlin's reasons earlier. Perhaps he is currently threatened so he had to force you to marry that woman," I chimed in.
