Fiora's POV
I burst into tears as soon as I walked into the house.
The man who I had loved and taught me what it meant to fight was now treating me like a foreign girl. And to make matters worse, he only recognized me as the daughter of his family's archenemy. He didn't recognize me as the woman he loved or the mother of his son.
I cried and poured out all the emotions pent up in my heart. Three years had passed and I did not expect it to still hurt this much when I realized that the Alpha Brynmor I knew was long gone along with his father's ambition to take the life of every member of my family.
