"Fiora!!!"
The sound of screaming my name was deafening. Before I could process what was happening, someone jumped into the river and quickly flipped my prone body over, floating on the water.
"Alpha Brynmor, what happened?" I asked while coughing from the water that had entered my mouth.
Alpha Brynmor released my body instantly, then hit the surface of the water until water sprayed around us. He was rubbing his face furiously. The worried expression on him's face turned into furious anger.
"I thought you were dead!" He shouted while staring intently at me.
I glared sharply. "Why would you think that?" I asked, genuinely curious about Alpha Brynmor's way of thinking.
