"Alpha, thank you for taking me to my room," I said with a smile.
The ball finally ended after the sun had almost risen. All the invited guests had left the palace an hour ago. After what happened in the labyrinth, all the guests had been complimenting me all night. Even my lips were sore from smiling so much.
I didn't see Freya and Alpha Chaelum after I made it out of the maze, making me a little relieved that at least I didn't have to face Freya again after such an exhausting night.
