"I see you and Mikhayla are getting closer, Brynmor," Dad said, breaking the silence of our dinner.
I glanced at my father at the end of the table and replied, "Mikhayla is a beautiful, interesting woman who also gets along easily with new people. I enjoy the days I spend with her, yes."
A few days of spending time with Mikhayla had managed to make me forget about Fiora and the thought of knowing about who that woman really was. And actually the reason why I enjoy spending time with Mikhayla is because she can distract my mind from the things that have been bothering me for some time now.
