CHAPTER 59Kira entered Uncommon Grounds as the techno-geeks began their daily migration from the coffee shops to their workplaces. Kira felt out of sync, watching two men wearing HP polos and Dockers, complete with cell phones and handheld Internet devices on their hips, walk out of the coffee shop with their large lattes. She caught a snippet of their conversation as she passed. “We should be able to do that installation next week,” the brown-haired, slightly balding admin was saying. Kira smiled as she watched the other admin — who looked to be just out of college — nod sagely and sip his latte as they passed her by.
