Elias smiles down at Khaos and then sends her to the Beastial Space, and she soon disappears from his grasp, but he could hear her astonishment when she arrived in the vast grasswith potent mana. Khaos's mental voice echoes in Elias's mind, "W-wait, where am I? This is incredible! The mana here is so potent, I can feel it coursing through my veins!" She exclaims, her mental tone filled with wonder and excitement. Elias chuckles mentally, "Don't worry, Khaos. When I get a moment, I'll help you design your space to suit your preferences. For now, let's focus on your elemental affinity." He says, his mental tone calm and reassuring. Khaos's mental voice responds, "Ah, yes. Elemental affinity. As a Wyrmwood Serpent, I'm supposed to have an affinity with water and Storm-based magic and skills. We're naturally inclined towards aquatic and atmospheric magic, and our venom is often infused with these elements." She explains, her mental tone filled with a sense of knowledge Elias then asks Khaos how she became infected by such corruption earlier? He tells her he and the people he was with were investigating the forest to try and understand what's going on. Khaos's mental voice responds, "I... I'm not entirely sure how I became infected. I remember being in the forest, patrolling the area, when I sensed a dark energy emanating from a nearby clearing. I went to investigate, and that's when I saw it - a dark, twisted energy that seemed to be corrupting the very fabric of the forest. I tried to attack it, but it was too powerful. It infected me, and... and that is how you found me." She explains, her mental tone filled with a sense of regret and self-blame. "I'm sorry, Elias. I didn't mean to put you and the others in danger. If I had known what was happening, I would have tried to stop it." Elias's mental voice responds, "Khaos, it's not your fault. You tried to attack the source of the corruption, but thankfully, we met, and I was able to save you, and you became my bonded beast as a result. ill make sure you don't regret your choice. Elias asks Khaos where she was patrolling the forest when she encountered the Source of the Corruption, he assures her that he wont be getting to close he just needs the location, a landmark or something in order to tell the Captain Blackwood so he may write a report and send it to the necessary person up the chain of command. Khaos's mental voice responds, "I was patrolling near the old, ruined temple on the eastern edge of the forest. It's a place where the ancient ones used to worship the forest spirits. I had been tracking a strange energy signature that seemed to be emanating from within the temple. As I approached, I sensed the dark energy that I mentioned earlier. It was like nothing I've ever encountered before." She explains, her mental tone filled with a sense of caution. "Be careful, Elias. The temple is said to be cursed, and many have ventured in but never returned. I don't want you to get hurt." Elias's mental voice responds, "Don't worry, Khaos. I'll be careful. I just need to give Captain Blackwood a location so he can report it to the authorities. Elias then turns to Captain Blackwood, who was looking at him with concern. Ah, sorry bout that Captain Elias apologized he told the captain he was having a conversation with his bonded beast via a mental link. Elias then turns serious and tells Captain Blackwood about the information that Khaos relayed to him, then mentions how if a mythic creature whom was level 10 and was twice Blackwood's level was able to become corrupted that this matter needs to be reported to the nearest city and possibly the Wysteria Kingdom for assistance. Captain Blackwood's expression turns grave as Elias shares the information about the ruined temple and the corruption of the Wyrmwood Serpent. He nods thoughtfully, his eyes narrowing as he considers the implications. "I see," he says, his voice firm. "This is indeed a matter of great importance. If a level 10 mythic creature such as a Wyrmwood Serpent can be corrupted, it's possible that other creatures of similar or greater power may be affected as well." He pauses, collecting his thoughts. "I will report this to the village elder and request that we send a message to the nearest city, Willowdale, and to the Wysterian Kingdom's authorities. We will need to gather more information and assess the situation before we can determine the best course of action." He turns to Elias, his expression serious. Captain Blackwood's expression turns serious as he asks Elias, "I need you to come with me, Elias. As the one who bonded with the Wyrmwood Serpent, you are our key witness in this matter. I'll need you to accompany me to Willowdale City and then to the Wysterian Kingdom Capital City to seek the kingdom's aid in dealing with this corruption." He pauses, collecting his thoughts. "I'll need you to explain the situation to the Mayor of Willowdale and to the kingdom's authorities and to show proof that you were able to cleanse the corruption from the Wyrmwood Serpent. This may involve summoning Khaos to demonstrate the bond between you and the beast." He looks at Elias with a stern expression. "I know this is a lot to ask, but I need you to be prepared to answer questions and provide evidence to support our request for aid from the Wysterian Kingdom. We can't afford to have this situation escalate and put the entire region at risk." Elias ponders the matter for just a moment as the system chimes in his head. The system's chime echoes in Elias's mind as the quest updates with new information: "Quest: 'Uncovering the Hidden Threat' - Updated: Captain Blackwood has requested your assistance in reporting the corruption to the Wysterian Kingdom. Your mission is to accompany Captain Blackwood to Willowdale City and then to the Wysterian Kingdom Capital City to seek the kingdom's aid. You will need to provide evidence of the corruption and the bond between you and Khaos, the Wyrmwood Serpent." After reading the updated quest information, Elias accepts both the system's quest update and Captain Blackwood's request to journey with him. Elias only requested that his parents be informed of him traveling with Captain Blackwood once they return to the village to prepare to leave. Captain Blackwood nods in approval as Elias accepts his request to journey with him. "Very well, Elias. I'll make sure to inform your parents of our plans once we return to the village. They'll want to know that you're heading to the Wysterian Kingdom, and they'll likely want to say their goodbyes." He pauses, considering the logistics of their journey. "We'll need to prepare for the road ahead. I'll gather a small team of guards to accompany us, and we'll make sure to pack enough supplies for the journey. We'll be traveling to Willowdale City first and then on to the Wysterian Kingdom Capital City." He looks at Elias with a serious expression. "This is a serious matter, Elias. We'll need to be prepared for anything that comes our way."
