As the night wears on, Elias's body begins to repair and heal from the injuries he sustained during the hunting incident. His wounds close, and his strength and vitality begin to return. The clinic's medical equipment hums softly in the background, monitoring his progress and ensuring that his recovery is on track. The smell of bacon, eggs, potatoes, and sausages soon rouse Elias from his sleep as his stomach begins to growl in hunger. He strains to open his eyes and regain focus as he wakes up and sees his parents and Elara Moonwhisper next to his clinic bed, Elara was holding a tray with sliced bacon, eggs, hassbrowns and sausage with a small bowl of gravy. Eleanor Harrington, Elias's mother, smiles warmly as she sees her son waking up. "Good morning, dear! We brought you some breakfast. Elara, dear, can you help him sit up and eat?" Elara Moonwhisper nods and gently helps Elias sit up in bed, supporting his back with a pillow. Alexander Harrington, Elias's father, stands beside Elara, watching with a concerned expression. "How are you feeling, son? Any pain or discomfort?" Elara hands Elias the tray, and he takes a deep breath, inhaling the savory aromas of the food. Elias Thanks Elara the village healer for the help and the food, he then turns to his parents, *chuckles* and responds that its only been a day since he has been conscious of his healing body. But he mentions how, after already being bedridden and under Elara's care for several days, although he wasn't awake during that time. Elias tells them that he's feeling just a bit sore as well as a bit restless. He asks Elara if he can do a bit of light exercise to make sure his muscles don't atrophy. Elara Moonwhisper nods understandingly, "Ah, yes, it's not uncommon for patients to feel a bit restless after a prolonged period of bed rest. Light exercise can be beneficial in preventing muscle atrophy and improving circulation. However, I must advise you to start with gentle movements and avoid any strenuous activities for now." She pauses, considering Elias's request. "I think it's safe for you to try some light stretching and movement, but let's start with something simple. Why don't we begin with some deep breathing exercises and some gentle arm and leg movements?" She hands Elias a small cup of water and a towel to wipe his mouth. "Your parents can help you with the exercises, and I'll be nearby to monitor your progress." Eleanor and Alexander Harrington exchange a concerned glance, but then nod in agreement, "Yes, let's start with something gentle. We Elias takes a deep breath in through his nose, feeling the air fill his lungs, and then exhales slowly through his mouth. He repeats this process several times, focusing on the sensation of the breath moving in and out of his body. As he breathes, he feels his body begin to relax, and his mind starts to calm. His parents and Elara watch him with gentle smiles, nodding encouragingly as he continues to breathe deeply. Elias carefully lifts his legs off the bed, using the pillow to support them. He begins to slowly lift and lower his legs, first to the left and then to the right, keeping his knees straight. His parents and Elara watch as he repeats this movement several times, his legs moving in a slow and controlled manner. As he continues, Elias starts to feel a subtle increase in flexibility and range of motion in his legs. Elias carefully lifts his feet off the bed, using the pillow to support them. He begins to gently wiggle his toes, first to the left and then to the right, feeling a subtle tingling sensation in his feet. He then lifts his feet off the bed again and starts to slowly rotate his ankles in a circular motion, first clockwise and then counterclockwise. His parents and Elara watch as he repeats this movement several times, his feet moving in a slow and controlled manner. As he continues, Elias starts to feel a subtle increase in flexibility and range of motion in his feet and ankles. Elias turns to Elara and his parents, i feel good. Can I try walking around the room? Elias asks. Elara Moonwhisper's expression turns thoughtful, and she exchanges a glance with Elias's parents. After a moment, she says, "I think it's a good idea to test your balance and mobility, but please be careful. Let's start with small steps and see how you feel." She hands Elias a walking stick, which he takes gratefully. "Hold onto the bed for support, and take slow, small steps. If you feel any dizziness or discomfort, stop immediately and let us know." Alexander Harrington steps forward, placing a hand on Elias's shoulder. "We'll be right here with you, son. Take your time." Eleanor Harrington adds, "And don't forget to hold onto the bed for support. We don't want you falling or getting hurt." Elias carefully places his hands on the bed, holding onto it for support as he begins to take small, tentative steps around the room. He keeps his weight centered and his balance steady, using the bed for stability as he moves. As he walks, he feels a sense of accomplishment and progress, and his confidence grows with each step. Elara Moonwhisper and his parents watch him with smiles, their faces filled with pride and encouragement. "Good job, Elias!" Elara says, her voice warm and supportive. "You're doing great!" Alexander Harrington adds, "Keep going, son! You're doing better than I expected!" Elias takes a deep breath and begins to walk without holding onto the bed for support. He takes small, cautious steps, keeping his balance and weight centered. At first, he feels a bit unsteady, and his legs wobble slightly. But as he continues to walk, he starts to feel more confident and in control. He takes a few more steps, his feet moving steadily across the floor. Elara Moonwhisper and his parents watch him with a mixture of concern and encouragement, their faces tense with anticipation. Elias carefully picks up the walking stick that Elara had handed him earlier and begins to use it to slowly walk around the room. He places the stick on the floor in front of him and takes small, careful steps, using the stick for balance and support. As he walks, he feels a sense of stability and confidence, and his movements become more fluid and natural. Elara Moonwhisper and his parents watch him with smiles, their faces filled with pride and encouragement. "Good job, Elias!" Elara says. "You're doing great!" Alexander Harrington adds, "Yes, son, you're doing much better now. Keep going!" Elias carefully lowers himself onto the bed, using the walking stick to steady himself as he sits down. He leans back against the pillows, feeling a sense of relief and accomplishment at having made it through his first exercise session. Elara Moonwhisper and his parents gather around him, smiling and nodding in approval. "You did great, Elias," Elara says, placing a hand on his shoulder. "I'm proud of you for pushing yourself and taking those first steps." Alexander Harrington adds, "Yes, son, you're making excellent progress. We'll continue to help you get stronger and more mobile, but for now, just rest and relax." Eleanor Harrington hands Elias a glass of water, which he takes gratefully. "Here, dear, drink this and take a break. You've earned it." Elias thanks his mother, then Elias takes a sip of the water and begins to eat the food Elara brought him, his eyes scanning the room as he asks, "So, what's new? Has anything interesting happened while I was out?" Elias asks if anything has happened in the village over the last few days? any new events, people, or merchants ? Elara Moonwhisper sets down a tray of fresh fruit and cheese, her expression thoughtful. "Well, Elias, it's been a quiet few days in Brindlemark, but there have been a few developments worth mentioning. The traveling merchant, Marcellus, arrived in the village yesterday with a shipment of rare spices and fabrics. He's been setting up shop in the town square, and the villagers are excited to see what he has to offer." Elias asks Elara and his parents about any news from the neighboring towns and villages Eleanor Harrington leans forward, a hint of concern in her voice. "Actually, Elias, there's been some news from the nearby village of Oakwood. It seems that their harvest has been affected by a sudden and severe infestation of pests. The villagers are struggling to keep up with the damage, and there's talk of seeking help from the Wysteria Kingdom's agricultural experts." Alexander Harrington nods in agreement. "Yes, and there's also been some rumors of strange occurrences in the nearby town of Raven's Peak. Some folks have reported seeing shadowy figures lurking in the woods, and there's talk of dark magic at work." Elara Moonwhisper frowns, her eyes narrowing. "I've heard similar rumors, but I'm not sure what to make of them. It's possible that it's just small-time thieves or bandits. Elias mentally talks to himself, he could probably ask the system for some of his answers but he doesnt want to use the system in front of others, not because they will be able to see the system but he doesnt want to rouse any suspicions so he will ask them his questions. Elias is the three about how far the village of Oakwood and the town of Raven's Peak is from this Village of Brindlemark. Elias was just curious about the geography of the area better. It's one thing to look at a map and information, but to hear about it from others makes it seem more informative. Eleanor Harrington smiles, "Ah, Oakwood village is about a day's journey on horseback from here, Elias. It's a bit of a trek, but the villagers are friendly, and the scenery is lovely. You'll pass through some beautiful forests and rolling hills on the way." Alexander Harrington nods in agreement, "Yes, and Raven's Peak town is a bit further, about two days' journey. It's a larger settlement, with a bustling market and a strong sense of community. But be warned, Elias, the roads can be treacherous, especially at night. It's best to travel with a group or an experienced guide." Elara Moonwhisper adds, "I've traveled to both places myself, and I can tell you that the people are friendly and welcoming. But it's always a good idea to be cautious when traveling to new places. Elias then asks them about which city is the closest to the Town of Raven's Peak? as from what his world map displays the Wysteria Kingdom's Capital City is located in the center of this continent surrounded by grasslands then forests then further out is the various cities followed by the towns and villages on the outskirts of the kingdom. Alexander Harrington's eyes light up with interest, "Ah, the Wysteria Kingdom's Capital City is indeed a major hub of activity, but the closest city to Raven's Peak is actually the city of Willowdale. It's a smaller city compared to the capital, but it's still a significant trading center and a major stopover for travelers heading north." Elara Moonwhisper nods in agreement, "Yes, Willowdale is a lovely city, with a strong focus on trade and commerce. The city is surrounded by rolling hills and fertile farmland, making it an ideal place for farmers and merchants to do business." Eleanor Harrington adds, "And from what I've heard, the city of Willowdale is also home to a large and prestigious university, which attracts scholars and students from all over the kingdom."
