Chapter 6

(Morning after that horrible night)

Val mind-linked Daniel in the morning informing him about the artist to make Arian's pitcure,

'We found an artist who can make her sketch based on you description. We are in your office.'

'I will be there in 10 minutes.' Daniel replied and turned towards Serena. Her eyes were swollen and face tear streaked. He lovingly caressed her and said,

"Love, I have to go to my office now. Val is waiting for me with the artist. Do you want to accompany me?" He asked her. She nodded her head in affirmation and said,

"Just let me wash my face and freshen up till then you also change your dress it has become dirty with all my make-up." And she went to the bathroom.

5 mintues later she came out looking as fresh as ever, perks of being vampire. Daniel was also ready in his black shirt with half folded sleeves and denim jeans. Serena was wearing a navy blue full sleeve cocktail dress. She had done her hair in a messy ponytail. Even after crying her eyes out whole night she looked beautiful.

Daniel took her hand and went towards his office which was on the 14th floor of their high rise residential c*m commercial building. Their flat was on 20th floor with a perfect view of the city from their balcony. Neither too high nor too low. Perfect view just like Serena liked.

Daniel had met Serena 5 years ago when he was 19 years old in business charity event. As soon as they saw each other they saw the bond. It was a golden color line connecting their hearts. This line not only connects their heart but their lives too. If one heart stops beating other will stop too. This golden line is their physical connection. They cant hear each other but feel each others beating heart.

Serena was an orphan vampire. She was a born vampire unlike many who are turned. Born vampires are more powerful than the turned ones and rare too. In the process of giving birth, female vampires body get torn this results in their death. Due to their connection with their mate male vampires die too. The baby vampire grow up suckling parents blood as result they become full grown up vampire within 3 days instead of years. With blood they get powers of their parents. Their body hosts power of two fully grown vampires. Vampires can give birth to only 1 child in their life time so it happens only when they want to take next journey, i.e. the journey of after death.

Her parents were 500 hundred old vampires and they got tired of their never ending life so they decided to have their baby, their symbol of love and die in the process.

When Daniel and Serena met Serena was just 40 years old vampire. Yes although she is 40 years old but she has a body of 20 years old.

Soon they reached Daniel's office. Val introduced Daniel to the artist,

"Daniel she is Liwa. Liwa this is Daniel and his mate Serena."

After exchanging the pleasantries they sat down and Daniel started describing Ariana. Although he left immediately her image was pretty clear in his mind.

"She has red wavy long hair, green small but wide eyes. Thick red eye lashes and heart shape lips. Her face is small oval shaped, with small but straight pointed nose. She is fair skinned..." and so on.... He was able to describe just her facial features as he didnt know much about her height and other features due to low light. Thanx to car's headlight he was able to see her face clearly.

After guiding Liwa here and there Ariana's sketch was complete. By the time it was done it was already 9 am. They have been on it since last 2 hours and finally got the result.

Sketch was almost exact replica of that girl. Liwa turned the laptop towards Serena and Val,

"Beautiful." Serena commented. She couldn't take her eyes off her. 'Daniel really denied her for me I cant believe it. She is so beautiful and innocent. I am really feeling bad for thinking like that about her. She is really made for Daniel. When her sketch is so beautiful she must be in real more.' She then looked towards Daniel in new light with more respect and love. She fell more in love with him.

Val couldn't stop himself from commenting,

"Wowww... I have seen many beautiful girls but no one is a match for her. Beauty with innocence is very rare." He couldn't take his eyes off until he heard a growl from the jealous Alpha. Although he was his beta wolf still he was no match to Daniel so he turned his eyes away with great difficulty to save his own neck.

"Thank you so much Miss Liwa. You are a great artist. Go to my Secretary on the next floor she will give you your check. Thank you once again." Daniel sent her off with a smile and turned his attention towards his mate and his beta only to find both of them lost in the sketch.

Daniel went forward and closed laptop in anger. He was angry on Val for looking at his mate so intensely but his mate was also no less. Its good that she is straight he thought.

"Now that I have both of your attention can we discuss the matter at hand."

Hearing him say this both of them felt guilty and nodded their head in affirmation. Collecting himself Val said,

"I will get its copies made and send it to our trackers to ask around the city. I will also send one copy to every werewolf school. Most probably we will get some lead from one of the school."

"I will send copies to vampires and ask them to search her among the rouges outside the city. You must send someone to packs near the city too Val." Serena suggested.

Daniel agreed with them but he didnt like sending his mate's pic around especially after the reactions he got from Val and Serena.

"Make sure that the trackers are either gay or straight females and you to Serena. I dont want anyone drooling over my mate." Daniel said looking at Val. Val just rolled his eyes and nodded his head.

"Dude I think it will be better if we keep your connection to her among us only. We dont want your enemies to know about it. It will put her in even more danger." Val suggested. Daniel too was thinking along the lines so he agreed with Val and dismissed him.

Val immediately went to work on it while Serena too left to contact vampires. Daniel was alone in his office when he heard Dom,

'Daniel I can feel her again. I am sending comfort and strength through our link for that you will have to calm down as well.' Daniel immediately closed his eyes to meditate while Dom was comforting her. After around an hour Dom spoke again,

'I cant feel her again. What the hell is happening. Its not even 1 hour and she lost consciousness again. Daniel find her fast. I cant loose her.' Dom started whimpering on losing connection again. Daniel was worried as well but he cant break down now. He have to be strong to find her. He steels his heart and stops it from feeling it.

Everyone is busy in looking for Ariana and soon its night. Daniel was with Serena discussing about search result by vampires when Dom started getting frantic again.

'She is hurt. She is crying and in pain. That bastàrd is hitting her.' Dom cried.

Daniel couldn't help himself from holding his head in his hands. He was able to feel whatever Dom felt. He was getting mad because of this helplessness. He wanted to hold her in his arms and protect her but he couldn't. He cried out loud. He was feeling the pain. Pain of his mate, his wolf, pain of helplessness and it was driving him mad. Serena held him on her blossom while he cried. And then he felt her semi consciousness and then s*x. He felt everything. Every touch, every kiss, every bite and slap. Everything in his heart, in his mind. Even more than previous night. He dont know why he can feel more but he was not in the situation to think about it. After 3 long hours Dom said,

'She has fainted again. He drugged her. I was able to feel it on my tounges. Our bond strengthened after you accepted her from your heart and it strengthened even more after I reached out to her wolf for comforting her. We will be able to feel every strong emotion with full force now on.'

Daniel realised that he was on his bed and his hands and legs were tied. Serena was nowhere in sight instead Val was dozing on the chair nearby. He called him

"Val, wake up. What the hell you think you are doing. How dare you tie me? Open me now or I will rip your neck off." Daniel was furious.

Val woke up hearing him shout and rushed to open his feet first all the while explaining him the reason,

"Daniel you went on a rampage. Do you remember you actually attacked Serena. Its a good thing that she is so powerful and you were also distracted otherwise we would have lost you both today. You were thrashing so much that we had to tie you. I am sorry but I didnt know what else to do. It took 5 of us to control you." Val said apologetically.

"I want all our trackers to look for her from this instance. Until she is found they are not allowed to rest. I dont care what you do or how you do but I want her." Daniel used his Alpha voice making it impossible for wolves to ignore. Then he asked for Serena and went to look for her.

He never felt so helpless before. Only his mate could ease his suffering so he went looking for her.

He found her in balcony of their bedroom. She was lost in her thoughtbut still felt him approach. She turned smiling towards him making him relax abit,

'Atleast she is not mad on me.' He thought.

"I am sorry for yesterday Daniel. No one must go through what she is going through, what both of you are going through. I got selfish. I am sorry." She was crying. Tears fell from Daniel's eyes which he didnt notice until Serena wiped it. She held him in his arm to comfort him in his pain. She encouraged him to cry and take it all out.

'I want to kill that bastàrd by my bare hands and then drink his blood till the last drop. He is hurting all of us. Me, my mate and my sister. Yes I have accepted her even before meeting her. After seeing her sketch I feel a connection to her like she is my baby sister and I have to protect her at all cost. But the problem is I cant protect her, she is already suffering. But I will make her culprit suffer.' Serena thought.

She noticed that Daniel has stopped crying and just held on.
