Jade~ “Can't you at least get something sexy other than this? You look almost like those bikers when on this…” Leah muttered, checking on my shirt and running her fingers through my jean trousers. “Babes, I could get you one of my dresses. You need to look feminine and get a man tonight.” I raised my brows and gave her one last look before I started leaving the workshop. “You know I would dress this way and join you, and I'm also sure this wouldn't stop me from grabbing the free drinks there.” “She's actually going with us because of the free drinks. You think she cares about those men?” Liam shot at Leah, who was scowling at me. “What matters is that she's agreed to change her environment with us. I'm really grateful for that.” What a dickhead I have as a colleague here… “And you also know she's a mechanic here and wouldn't do the work looking feminine like you, who serves guests at the restaurant. She still looks good that way, though, so let's just start going so I can meet up with the men there.” Liam stomped on the nylon on the floor, and when we glared at him, he winked, grinning. Together, we headed to the club party. There were men at the entrance, looking dangerously sexy with their leather jackets ripped at some sides and their muscles flaunting tattoos carved on them. They had dark glasses on and were checking on the people who were getting in. I stopped and glanced at Leah, “Must they check us? But we aren't here for anything dangerous…” “That's the norm, girl…and they are doing nothing to you,” she responded softly, taking my hand as a protective measure while we waited for our turn. Liam was busy darting his eyes from one corner to another, while I was slowly losing my patience. If not for the free drinks, why would I be here at first? I just hate that they were making it look like they were granting us a favour by inviting us to the party. Now, I began wondering what the party was about. Could they be celebrating the cafe, which was renovated from a tobacco shop? Or because they were quitting anything m*******a? The noise from the club was almost deafening, the voices of females and the buzzing of music all over the place. I wanted to see what could be making those females raise their voices that way, and I hoped they wouldn't mistake me for a man when they were over everything that has a d**k. As it was our turn, the man standing before me slowly took off his glasses. He looked at me from head to toe, and a sinister smile curled on his lips. I opened my lips, but Leah nudged me, and I pressed them together. Then, the man turned to the other, "Isn't she the spicy pepper Barron kept mentioning he met and couldn't get off his mind?” he asked, and the other nodded, a dirty smile appeared on his face too. Barron… I took note of that name. How dare he come home to his friends and begin talking about me? Spicy pepper? When did I get such a nickname? “She really looks spicy with her tomboy personality…” the other said and chuckled. “Barron is so lucky tonight.” My palms clenched into a fist at my sides. I wanted to punch the dude in the mouth so it would break, but Leah grabbing my hand was more like a weakness to me. “You can't waste their time. Maybe I should alert Bar… “Don't you dare!!” I yelled at the man before I could process my words, my breath raspy. My gaze met Leah, and without thinking straight, I dragged her with me past the men who seemed to freeze and were just staring at us. The atmosphere at the party was something else. Ladies rocked their hips against men, the strippers on the pole, the music so loud, and some men drinking and smoking at the sides. I saw women smoking too, but most were with their men, who gave them a taste of it. “You shouldn't have yelled at them. What if they mark our faces?” Leah walked before me with her brows knitted. I scoffed, “Where do I get the free drinks?” I asked, and she pointed to the left where there were a lot of people lined up and waiting too. “Since Barron knows me, I should be attended to quickly and f*****g off from this messy place.” She sighed out loud, “Liam said the truth that you came here for the free drinks alone…” “He's left already. Look at him over there discussing seriously with someone.” I said and shook my head. “I heard you need to own a Harley, and to be introduced by someone is necessary to join, so he had better get his mind off joining the club,” I added and pouted, because it was already irritating me how he kept making it look as if he wouldn't survive if he didn't join the club so soon. At that moment, a man walked up to Leah and tapped her shoulder. He offered his hand for a dance, and I signalled her to go ahead so I could go get myself a drink. I walked past the queue when I saw some people getting attended to from the side, so I joined them and the barman poured me a whisky in a glass. I grabbed the long stool that I saw there and made myself comfortable, while shifting my eyes from one corner to the other, watching what was going on. My gaze finally landed on a crowd surrounding a man in the middle, and when I looked intently, he was the rugged, muscular man at Victor's cafe, the leader of the club. I climbed down and began reaching closer, just to know what was going on with them here. I heard several voices call him ‘Dragon’, making me wonder if that was his nickname. If it was, then he was indeed like a dragon…or his face wouldn't be so brutal like that. He was being hailed by the men and ladies surrounding him, while I watched some feet away. I didn't even realise when I began smiling at what they were doing, but it quickly vanished when I saw something liquid move towards him until it splashed on his vest. My expression turned sour upon watching him walk out of the crowd slowly. “Was that intentional or what? How could they do that when he was cheering with them?” I mumbled to myself and grabbed my glass of whiskey. I watched until he entered a passageway, vanishing from my sight, so I quickly downed the contents in the glass. intending to see what the hallway was about, as it looked out of bounds from the party members. When two men entered too, and their outfits didn't look like they were one of them, I guessed one could enter through there. But when I walked through the way, he wasn't in the show any longer. There were several rooms too, and I just wanted to walk to the end of the hallway and return to the party ground. But after I crossed the fifth door, I realised the sixth wasn't locked like the others. My gaze narrowed upon seeing the skull art drawn on the door, so vivid and kinda scary if seen suddenly. And amongst the other doors I passed by, it was the only one with such a drawing, so I wondered what it meant. I still stood there when the door opened a bit again, and I looked intently to see a huge, tall man standing there with his upper body bare. His hair was braided, and although he was a little far from me, I could still see the full sleeve tattoo he wore. That instant, it clicked in, the only biker I knew for now with a braid… ‘Dragon!’ I thought and bit my lower lip. ‘So those muscles aren't fake? They look so fantastic now that he isn't wearing anything.’ I licked my lips and creeped closer to the door this time, getting a clearer view of his back and already imagining my fingers running through his muscles. I was so lost that I didn't realise when he turned around, and my eyes widened at the abs that got shoved at my sight. My lips dropped open while saliva gathered in my mouth. ‘He's so big with damn sexy abs. Could I rest my head on such a chest? That's a dragon tattoo on his belly, and f*****g Mark doesn't look any good compared to him.’ I slowly slid my smallest finger into my mouth to begin biting my nail there.
