I smiled awkwardly. “Did I?”
The old man nodded.
“Well, is it good or bad?” I gasped when I remembered something. “Oh, don’t answer that. I know I’ve been so mean to you before. And I’m sorry… I really am.”
The old man shook his head. “No… don’t worry. I understand where you are coming from. You’re rebelling with your father and I know why. But let me assure you that Leo loves you with all his heart. You may not be his blood and flesh, but I know he loved you like his own.”
