“I’ll think about it.” I finally said.
Theo arched his eyebrows. It seemed he wasn’t convinced.
“Why not decide now?”
“I am on leave, right? I’ll spend those days thinking about what you said. For now, leave me alone. You have work, right? You should be in your office, right now.”
Theo suddenly stood up and left my side. He went straight to the panel window and opened the blinds. Soon, I saw the tall buildings around the lighted city.
The view is beautiful but I didn’t think that was what Theo meant by opening the blind curtains. It was simply telling that it was already late at night.
The office was closed.
“Oh… how long had I been unconscious then?”
“More than four hours. They even put you under an oxygen supply device."
