Theo wasn’t home. Bea told me, first thing in the morning.
“Where did he go? Don’t tell me he's going back to the city again?” I asked Bea.
I was starting to get irritated. And my day had just started.
“No, Miss. He is in the mainland for some business. The Master told me to inform you, just in case you look for him.”
I nodded and went to the counter top.
I propped my face with my palm while watching Bea. She was brewing a coffee and putting a cup in front of me.
She smiled. “Here’s your coffee, Miss.”
I smiled and thanked her. I was wondering how she knew I wanted coffee. She didn’t ask me beforehand. I sipped on my coffee and it tasted great.
“This tasted wonderful.” I told her.
“Thank you. I’m glad it passed your taste.” She politely replied.
