Darksworth pack.
Alpha Elijah.
The scent of her body is lightly scented with vanilla, messing with my mind that was once concentrated and focused.
My wolf growls in delight when I find myself in a far fetched position with her. I cannot even explain how I got to this stage. For the longest time, I’ve known my wolf and he doesn’t have surrender to romantic feelings.
It was the thing that limited me from taking a mate in the first place because it has been dead silent for all these years.
Now, all of a sudden…I’m positioned in between her warm legs and I hear the slight moan that is released from her lips.
“Mine.”
My wolf says, claiming her at that spot.
I am shocked by this. Did my wolf just claim this mate of a murderer!? I let go of her instantly.
Lilith looks at me in shock.
Is my wolf twitching or something? How can he claim her? I stare at Lilith as she stands up from bed, straightening the red dress that compliments her sun kissed skin.
Her long, black hair is at waist length, blue eyes and long lashes that turns me on. I am so flustered by everything of a second ago that I breath deeply.
My wolf is probably confused. He did not just claim this woman! I have forgotten what I came to tell her because I was busy trying to take the piece of glass from her.
I am not going to be your luna! Lilith says, staring at me with vehement.
“That ship has sailed, dear.” I respond blankly.
“I have no idea where Everest is! Why don’t you believe me!?” She yells at me.
“Well, I don’t believe you!” I roar back at her and she steps back in jolt. She is at the end of the wall and I corner her.
“You are the woman he was supposed to marry and make luna of the Swiss pack. I will use him to fish you out.” I clench my teeth as I say, towering on top of her and watching as her chest rise and fall.
“And what if that doesn’t work?” She asks, lifting her eyes to meet mine.
The moment our eyes gazes at each other, she cuts it because my focus on her is predatory.
“Then, get ready to serve your purpose as luna and start bearing pups for me.” I say, intentionally putting my words like that.
“I would do no such thing! I am not a baby machine! What makes you think I would want to carry your pups? I don’t even know you.” Lilith responds.
“It’s better it stays that way. You want to protect Everest? Then, you will pay for it as long as he’s not found. And until we find him, I won’t let you go.”
“So, what! In a perfectly modern world, I’m supposed to be your slave, prisoner or something like that?” Lilith retorts.
“No, what I’m saying is.You can run but you can’t hide. I have bonded with you. As a Lowenmensch werewolf, I know your scent already and I can trace you no matter where you go. If I were you, I would not do anything that can cause me to be angry. I could have destroyed and burnt the Swiss pack to the ground but I didn’t…”
“Do not do anything that will make me change that.” I say, stepping back and seeing her swallow.
At this point, I think I have put enough fear in her mind and she will not be getting any idea.
“So, I can meet my family and tell them that I’m alright?” Her clear voice asks as I turn my back to pour myself a scotch.
“Of course, Lilith. You are prisoner but at the same time, not a prisoner. You are a luna but at the same time, not a luna
Lilith begins to walk towards me.
“And that sounds completely normal and ethical to you..” She goes.
“Hey!” I growl and she shudders.
“You are protecting a cold, blooded killer!
What is unethical here is the fact that you are unwilling to talk. Your mate killed her and I’m doing everything in my power to not strangle you in anger.”
I say, placing my hand around her neck and walking around her. I watch as she rub her palms, her lashes flutter and I get the feeling that she’s hiding something.
“You know something…”
She shakes her head in disapproval.
“I don’t…” She replies, shutting her eyes and I grab her, placing her on the desk where the scotch is sitting.
“What…what are you doing?” She says, trying to get off but I stand in between her legs, removing my belt easily.
“What else? You are my luna. It is my right.” I say, doing this to intimidate her and to get her mouth speaking.
I pull her closer to my waist line and for a moment, I am distracted that this is just a thing I’m doing to intimidate her.
“Okay, stop! I’ll tell you what I know.” Lilith yells.
“Speak!” I growl.
“Everest came home recently with blood on his hands, and when I asked him. Everest said it was from an animal. I’m sorry.” Lilith says, tears streaming out of her eyes and there is a part of me that thinks it is genuine.
“I’m so sorry.” She says as we are closely intertwined but instead of surrendering like my wolf is asking me to do.
I grab her from the table and bend her over.
“I give you three days, if you don’t fish him out within three days. Prepare yourself to actively take the role of my luna. Prepare yourself for my many needs.” I say into her ears before storming out of the room.
