‘What the--’ Intense pain stabbed her mind, stealing the use of her legs and causing her vision to black out for a second time. She fell hard upon the ground, bruising and scraping her body against the moor as her body slid to a halt. The agony in her mind was debilitating; she writhed on the wet ground clutching at her head, in a futile attempt to shield herself from the immensely powerful attack. So extreme was the pain that she began to wretch uncontrollably – the horrendous experience was unlike anything she had previously endured.
