Eli brought Adam closer and kissed him. Their lips danced with each other until Adam broke off the kiss. Eli didn’t want to lose Adam. He had to figure another way to tell Adam the truth. “I hope you got your answer.”
Adam rested the top of his forehead against Eli’s. “I did.”

Eli followed the group through the entrance and stopped by the large fountain. As the docent waited for the afternoon’s tour to move closer to her, Eli lingered several yards away. Josh and Sully flanked his side as Adam took pictures of the fountain.
“What do you mean you didn’t tell him?” Sully asked. “We holed up yesterday in the hotel so you could.”
“I tried to reach him. He has these ideas that kind of shocked me, about religion, for example, and he doesn’t believe in reincarnation.”
