His large hand came over my mouth and the screaming stopped.
“Eva?" The light switched on and the rook became illuminated.
Zander was straddling me with claws elongated and his fangs out. My chest heaved up and down heavily as I tried to calm my racing heart.

Then I heard him. 'She's actually insane. What would've happened if I had hurt her?'

He got off me and helped me to my feet. If I wasn't so terrified for my life, I would have enjoyed the position a lot more than what I had.
“What are you doing in my room at this hour dressed in…that?" He gestured to my oversized shirt that barely covered my *ss cheeks.
