Narrator’s POV
“Kane?” Zaira called out in fear.
Behind Zade stood a figure that Zaira immediately identified as Kane.
The problem was that the figure was without a head.
Kane’s head was on the floor with his eyes staring at her.
Zaira almost fainted at the sight. She trembled as she stared at the scene.
Zade immediately noticed her abnormality, and when she called out Kane, he looked behind him in shock.
Only to find that there was no one there.
“Kane?” Zade looked at Zaira for answers, only to find that she was completely quiet.
Zaira’s eyes seemed unfocused as she stared at the scene behind Zade. A scene that didn’t exist. Zaira had no idea that she was hallucinating.
