Narrator’s POV The air was eerily silent. Zaira nervously stared at her mates. She was well aware of how crazy her words sounded and how it might seem to her mates. Just after hearing that someone else’s mate had died and he was suicidal, the only thing that lingered in her mind was if her mates had such strong emotions when it came to her as well.
