Narrator’s POV
Zaira suddenly realized something as she sat on the grass.
“But what about...me?” She muttered in shock.
The Alpha had only talked about his sons punishment, but did not conclude that she would be granted any kind of leniency. This only meant one thing. There was only one route for her.
Banishment.
Whether or not her mates chose to stay with her, she would still be banished either way.
She looked up at the Alpha in shock to see that he wasn’t even paying her any attention. It was like she didn’t exist to him. She glanced at everyone else to see them looking at her with disdain. This was familiar. This was the same gaze they gave her since she was a child. An existence that caused trouble just by being.
