Chapter 2: Dream

Dream

My first class for today is similar to Psychology classes in typical colleges or university. The difference is, we took psychology class for a purpose and we don't share that.

Of course, as a new student I need to introduce myself. So here I am in front of students who also took the psychology class.

"Hi I am Angel Scarlet Hamilton. You can simply call me Angel." That's it. No more description. They will know me naman eventually so why bother right?

"Can I call you mine?" The flirt guy said. I rolled my eyes with so much annoyance.

"Are you deaf?" I can't help myself but to b***h around. The instructor seems to get that I'm already done introducing myself.

"Miss Hamilton you may sit beside Mr. Hartford." She said while looking around. "I see he's still not here. Well there, row two, column 3, left side." she said while pointing the seat. I nodded and walk towards my seat, not minding all the eyes watching me.

I waved at my Margaret tt who's currently sitting near me. As soon as I took my seat, the instructor walk towards the front, she's about to say something but five men entered the room. 

I could not help myself but to notice, they are handsome. I'm a woman who knows how to appreciate men's beauty.

"You must have reasons why you're late young men?" mataray na tanong ng instructor. Serves them right. They are gwapo but I hate tardiness.

Looking at them is kind of intimidating. They do have some cool aura yet again intimidating. 

The guy with piercing on her left ear has no expression at all. The other guy is just using his phone. The other one, I think is listening to a music-- he's wearing a headphone. The other one is holding a book and the last one is I think the most attentive to the instructor. 

"This won't happen again Miss." The attentive-guy said. The instructor just let out a deep sigh.

"You may take your seats." The five of them walk towards their seats. "Miss Marshal where are the royalties?" The instructor asked. A girl wearing an eye glasses stood up. She looks innocent yet I'm sensing other thing from her. She seems really confident and intimidating. 

What's with them looking intimidating? 

"I'm sorry Miss. I haven't seen them since this morning." What's with the royalties? Did they come from a royal family? Whatever! 

"Before I begin with our discussion, I'd like to make an announcement. As for old students, you all know that annually we are holding an event to welcome the new school year." I heard my fellow students silently screaming because of the announcement. "So get your invitations to Miss Marshall later after our class." Tumango lang sa kanya si Miss Marshall. She started discussing basic lessons about psychology. I jotted every thing she said. The class ended earlier than the usual.

As soon as the instructor left, our schoolmates gathered around Miss Marshall.

"Angel let's wait for them to finish." Margarett said while looking at our schoolmate gathering around Miss Marshall. As soon as the crowd die down, Margarett immediately walks toward Miss Marshall. 

"Miss we would like to get our invitations" Margarett said

"Surnames please," she said while scanning the papers she's holding.

"Hampshire and Hamilton." I said, and then she put a red mark on our names and gets two invitations and gave it to us.

"Thanks." Margarett and I said.

"The theme is already written there. Read it carefully" she said. We just nodded and left. We know how to read naman.

"So where are we going?" I asked.

"How about we eat first?" Margarett said. 

"I'd love that." She's so nice. I'm loving her.

After ordering our food I can't help but to ask her.

"My curiosity wouldn't let me keep in peace. Who are they? Yung mga late kanina." I asked. That's true. I've been pondering about them. 

"Oh them! They belong to a group called Monarchy." She said while eyeing the group of men she was pertaining.

"Monarchy?" Me.

"Yes. Let me introduce them to you." she said while giggling. Then she started pointing those people one by one. "That guy, who has no expression at all is Ryan Iniquez. From what I've heard and know about them, he's sort of the leader of the group. Next to him is Alfred Sy. He's really that nerdy ever since I met him. The one who looks playful is Matthew Medina. The one with headphones is Acer Ocampo. He's really nice but he's kind of introvert. The last one is Steven Rayco, he's a basketball player, the co-captain of the team." Are they some sort of a band? Kidding!

"How about the royalty? I heard the instructor earlier looking for them." I asked. Wouldn't you get curious after hearing a royalty? Mamaya narito pala si Prince William. Just kidding. 

"Oh! That's the other group of guys." she said while pointing to another group of guys sitting near us. "Look at that guy, " she said while pointing to the guy with broad shoulder. "That's Xian Harvey Hartford. Sort of the leader of the group." the she pointed another man. "That guy with a woman is Michael Hilton. He's a womanizer." she said and rolled her eyes. She pointed another guy again. "That one, who's wearing a bull cap is John Concepcion, he's the captain of the basketball team. Now that guy who's busy writing is the secretary of the student body. He's Lorenzo Cabrera. The last one with a chinky eyes is Joe Shin." I tried to comprehend what she said but I'm too preoccupied. 

"But what's with the group name? I mean do they came from a royal family or are they son of politicians?" I can't help but to ask. 

"The funny thing, lagi lang silang magkasama. So girls named them like that para hindi malito who belongs to which circle of friends." Margarett seems like ready to laugh just by thinking how those groups got their names.

"Enough about them, let's talk about the party." I said. I'm not really interested about the two groups. I just really found the names unusual. 

"Oh! I'm so excited. The last time I attended, the party was a blast." she said. Her eyes were twinkling. I can really sense that she's excited.

"By the way, what with this gold? It's like a seal." I asked. It has the logo of Mystery Academy.

"Oh that! That means you can wear red. It's some sort of status symbol. Normally, you'd wear black, white, silver, or gold, since that's the theme." they do have status symbol going around.

"I do have a seal." I said and showed her mine.

"I do have one too." she also said and showed me hers. "I plan to go out later to find my dress. Would you like to come?" she continued.

"Of course I would love too. I also need to find mine."

After eating, we head back to our dorm to change our clothes. I think she's too comfortable with me that she changes her clothes in front of me. What caught my attention was her tattoo on her right hips. I think I know that kind of tattoo. Two intertwined swords.

I tried to keep my cool and let that slide. I shouldn't bother myself with her tattoo.

"Let's use my car." I said as soon as we entered the parking area. "Hop in." 

Since it's first week of the class we're still allowed to go outside. Once the class officially start the academy will have a tighto security than what is happening right now. From what I heard, they keep tight security to keep intruders entering the academy. But I think I know the real reason.

After parking, we immediately entered the mall and famous boutiques. We saw a lot of cute stuffs but that is not something that you would wear for a formal party.

"I can't choose. There's nothing special around here." Margarett said. I couldn't agree any less.

"How about we go to my place? I think I have something there that might caught our attention." she seems confused

"Okay. If I ain't gonna find a dress in your closet them I'm afraid that I need to contact my designer." she really looks worried about the dress. It's just a party why bother like that? I guess that's their culture.

After looking around, we have really decided to come by to my house to look for a dress.

We are about to head back to the school. My house isn't really far from the mall.  I guess Marga is used to extravagant things. She's not really shock when she saw my house, it's like a normal thing for her.

I miss this place! 

"Follow me." we entered one of the rooms in the second floor. "What color do you plan to wear?" I asks. 

"How about black?" I nodded. That would be easier to find her clothes. Let's go to black section of my dresses. "Omy! Were you the one who organized these dresses?" she asked in disbelief.

"Yes." I said and chuckled. I'm quite organized with my things. I like seeing them organized and so I took some time organizing my stuff. "You can choose something there. I haven't really worn those dresses." She just  raises her eyebrow and scan through the clothes.

I've decided to wear something red. Let's go to red section.

"Angel which dress should I wear?" she said while holding two designer gown. 

"How about you try them?" I suggest.

"Can I?" I nodded. She's really excited. She left, I guess to try on the clothes. While I took some time in choosing mine.

"How about this?" she's wearing the black gown. It's full of sequence. It's kind of extravagant. It has long sleeves and is pretty big. "Wait I'll try the other one." she came back wearing another black gown. This time it is made silk and kind of sleek. It has low neckline and hugs her body very well. It also highlight her back and collar bone.

"That looks better." I said.

"I agree." she said. "Then this is what I'm gonna wear. Aren't you going to try something?" she asks.

"Not really. I'm tired to do that." she looks at her wrist watch and her eyes widen.

"Crap! It's almost six in the evening." 

"What?" Did we really took to long to find a dress?

We immediately head back to the academy. After changing and cleaning myself, I slept.

Kinabukasan

"Angel Scarlet Hamilton wake f*****g up!"

"f**k! What's wrong with you woman?" I hissed and try to go sleep again.

"You f*****g wake up. The headmistress has announcement to make." she aid while trying to drag me out of my bed. I want to f*****g kill this woman. Pasalamat sya I consider her as a friend.

"Fine." Half asleep I tried to took some shower. After drying my hair, I applied some tint on my lips and didn't bother to do the rest of my face and head our way to the gym where the headmistress instructs us to go.

"Good Morning students." few students greet her but most of us are still yawning. "I asked everyone to be here because I have an announcement to make." she chuckled a bit. "There are no classes for today. We have meeting to do. Enjoy the rest of the day." she said.

I rolled my eyes. That's it? She woke us up and asked to be here just to tell that there are no classes? Is she kidding?

"Looks like you can sleep more." Margarett chuckled. I rolled my eyes.

"Stop being annoying. Whatever! I'm going back to sleep." I rolled my eyes again and left her there. 

"Sleep tight b***h!" sigaw nya. I'm starting to hate her. Kidding!

As soon as I head back to our dorm, I immediately changed my clothes and closed my eyes to sleep some more.

'Mom what's happening? Who are they??'

I asked my mom

'Mom who are they? Why are they chasing us and shooting our car?'

I asked again but she's just crying and ignoring every question I asked.

'Sweetie I want you to run and go to your brother. Tell him about this.'

My Dad said

'But Dad, aren't you coming with me?' My tears are falling with the thought of Daddy will be left in here. I am young but I know what might be the reason for all of these.

'We're sorry Dear but we can't go and please make yourself safe. Go home and try to live peacefully. Go to your brother. When you come at your right age, you'll be the ruler of RM'

My dad said. I don't know what he was talking about but all I want is to hug them. My Mom hugs me tight and my Dad also did. They both kissed me and said

'Be safe dear. Be safe. Don't you ever come back here. Promise us you'll be safe, you'll be alive after this. Promise us' my Dad

'I promise Dad. What ever happen I'll be safe'

I said then my dad handed me a gun

'Use this if you need to. Good bye My Princess. Dad and Mom loves you take care'

He opens our car's door and he pulled the trigger while backing up my Mom.

'Go run and don't come back just run! We love you and tell that to your brother'

Then, I ran as fast as I could until I heard a gunshot but I didn't look back as I am too afraid to see what is happening to my parents. I saw a tree and I climbed up there.

'Mom Dad ' I whispered while my tears keep on falling.

'Mom Dad'

I saw my Dad fighting to a bunch of men while he's using a gun and a sword while Mom is using a gun but now she's in trouble, she's out of bullet, she's about to run, to run back but someone shot her, a man with a black heart tattoo on his wrist.

My dad got distracted that's why he got shot too with the same man. But he look at me while he's in that situation and mouthing 'I love you Princess' while My Mom mouthed me' Be safe and stay alive' I mouthed

'I love you both and I will'

"Angel why are you crying?"

I saw Margarett kakalabas lang niya from the bathroom. She sat at the edge of my bed a path my back.

"Are you okay?"

She asked. I wiped my tears and smile

''Of course I am okay. It's just nightmare"

I said trying to look okay.

It's my past that I don't want to happen again. I'm now 23 and for the past  years I've been living alone since I have stuff to do here. I'm the one who's handling the business here, as well as our underground businesses.

Since that day, I promised that I will do everything to kill that man using the gun that my father gave to me. Me and my brother will kill that man. Soon!

"Hey Angel you're spacing out" Margarett snapped in front of my face.

"What time is it?" I asked

"Around 4pm" she said

"WHAT??" then she rolled her eyes.

"Yes b***h you overslept. You better go to the bathroom and take a quick shower. I'm so f*****g hungry!" I can also hear my tummy growling. Asking for food.

I took some time to take some shower. Just like earlier I applied tint and leave the rest of my face unpainted. 

"I'm ready. Let's go."

"One white pasta and lemonade please!"

As we finished eating, we just change our clothes and go to the mini bar here inside Mystery Academy. Nice!

As we enter 

I can smell liquor, hard and soft...

I can smell strong perfume from the young men

I can smell sweet perfume from the girls

"Just enjoy the night." Margarett said while grinding her hips.

And yeah we enjoyed the night.
