The new girl

        “Hey miss.” I heard a voice .

I turned back to see a man walking towards me , he was probably a coach or something, he had a whistle on his neck.

“are u here for practice?” He asked 

What  the heck was he saying , I looked around  confused 

“what?” I asked 

“well seeing as u re standing in front of the gym door.” he said.

I looked up , oh s**t, it was really the gym  

“Uhmm ....no,I'm ...uhh ...lost.” I said still confused .

How in the world did I not notice the sign on the door.

I'm so tired of walking  around right now , I just want to get to my Goddamned class already.

“are u new?” he suddenly asked 

 “yes yes,I'm new...I actually arrived late , I'm looking for my class now,I can't find it , I probably already missed the first period , my mom is gonna so kill me ... argh! how hard is it to find a f*****g classroom , this place is sooo big.” I  was practically blabbering right now , I do that when I'm nervous , who doesn't.

He chuckled  , “alright calm down , I think I can help,let me see your  schedule”,  he  asked

Yea right I forgot , I checked my backpack , took it out & gave it to him.

“Lisa Lex,11th grade?”, he looked up at me a bit confused

yea yea , I get that look,what's a  11th grader doing in a new school when the season is almost over & it's just few months to senior year,well that is another story on its own.

“yep , that's me.” I said smiling sheepishly,hopefully wishing he doesn't press on the matter.

“Alright , your  class is just on the left side at the 1st turn” he said directing me & handing me my schedule 

“thank u so much!,” I said excitedly 

he smiled ,  “you are welcome , have a nice day & welcome to Denver high.” He said & he walked away.

So let's get this over with , I said letting out a breath , I followed his direction & finally found my class.

suddenly my shortly gone nervousness returned , it took all the courage in me to turn the door knob & enter.

This is it , this is definitely the part where I embarrass myself or hopefully not,I thought  ‘come on ,the only thing u do is embarrass yourself ,it's like your middle name’ My subconscious argued with me , I groaned .

“miss?” I heard a voice bringing me out of the war in my head.

“morning ma'am , I’m the new student , Lisa Lex.” I said giving the teacher my schedule.

“Well ,you are really late ,this is your third class , you missed two already but considering you re a new student , I will let it slide , go have your seat.” she instructed .

Phew! that was close.

I started walking towards the empty seat my eyes immediately spotted , it was almost at the back of the class .

I felt eyes on me , I heard whistles when I passed ,some scoffs & some side whispering.

 “what is she doing in a new school when it's almost end of the session?” 

I looked up to see a guy grinning at me , I ignored him & took a seat at the empty desk .

Then Suddenly ,  it was as if the whole class interest was on me,some of the students looked shocked , some were smirking , licking lips & eyeing me

gross! well I get that a lot....some girls were giving me the stink eye,gosh!this school is definitely weird, what did I do to get the eye,do they know me from somewhere 

Then I noticed some couple of girls ogling at me ,with adoration in their eyes

oh no!chill,I dont do lesbo 

I tore my eyes away , but then when I looked back , I still saw them giggling & blushing precisely at something at my back 

So out of curiosity I turned & boy was I stuck!!!

He looked f*****g gorgeous, if it's even possible for a guy to be gorgeous.

His hair  slightly spiked, had a chocolate brown color,Gosh they looked soft,I wanted to run my hands through them.

My eyes involuntarily went down to his lips , they were red & they looked wet real wet.

His eyes were bluish grey , it was a weird colour...but definitely attractive.

He looked at me & smirked  , then went back to his phone.

could that be any rude!?.

I felt so embarrassed & angry as well

I wasn't sure who I was mad at though , myself or grey eyes? 

I just decided to pay attention to the lecture .

Soon , it was over. 

I heard the bell , the shuffling of chairs , then the annoying high school noise , the corridors started filling up

yea , it was break.

I started gathering my books , then I felt a hand tapping my shoulder, I turned back to see grey eyes with a scowl on his face.

“what the heck are u doing here?,” he asked rudely.

Seriously? , this guy has some mental issues 

He definitely saw me when I entered & was introduced as a new student .

I chose to ignore him & continued packing my books .

 “huh,are u dumb?” He asked mockingly , I ignored him further

“yo guys ,the new girl is a mute.” He laughed 

The  whole class joined him . 

So he knew I was the new girl ,  He just wanted to get on my nerve

“great job for not replying Lisa ,I'm so proud of  you,” I said to myself smiling.

I got up with my backpack , then I heard noises & laughter 

Trust me I know that sound , for someone who has been bullied , I definitely know  that sound.

I saw a fat girl , she entered the class  ,her clothes  wet , her eyes teary & she was sweating all over , she  held her books tightly as she walked in , she was practically fidgeting.

Her eyes held a lot of fear , but was directed to one particular person  — Grey eyes , of course he had to be him he's the f*****g bully.

“fat-sole , hope you lost some pounds from the run , did the water cool u down?” he said smirking , the whole class laughed again .

what the heck is wrong with these people!!

The girl walked to her sit with tears brimming in her eyes.

he just stood there smirking

alright! that's it , I could feel my blood hot right now 

I hated these,I hated people like this.

“what makes u think you re so perfect to body-shame her huh?,” the words flew out of my mouth before I could think about anything.

“oh well look ,she isn't mute after all”, he said cockily 

“yeah I'm not mute , but it looks like you are really dumb ... you feel all high & mighty cause u probably call a few shots, but guess what, this is a just a phase that doesn't last ,u asshole... nothing f*****g gives u the right to body-shame a person,nothing at all” I said  yelling & fuming now .

I heard a few ‘ahh& woahs’ , for God's sake these whole people piss me off.

Grey eyes  looked shocked now but still managed to put up a smirk

“I could have really needed this lecture , but you see I already had one just now , & I don't call a few shots tiny , I call all the shots', he said in a dangerous tone.

I practically shivered inside but try to keep my cool.

I looked up at him & he was giving me a look that felt really deadly

I know that look,I ve seen it before , that is the main reason I'm here.

    I had a bully in calp hill , my previous school at California

one day he started his tantrums & I couldn't take s**t no more , I slapped him & told him off

I really gave him a hell of an insult.

I went home & I found our house 

scattered,more like damaged ,it really looked terrifying,then there was a note that said 

‘I'm coming for u Lisa Lex' 

I found out from some of my classmates that Shaw , my bull , did it  & not only that , he was in the mafia , his family runs the mafia in California .

Mom freaked out ,panicked .

we had to move more like run, & here we are in Denver .

I couldn't finish my junior year there , that's why I had to join in a school as soon as possible

I thought about all the trouble I caused my family with the move & everything & decided this d**k wasn't worth it.

I was about to grab my backpack & walk out when he came close to me & said , 

 “by the way , you would surely make a good f**k With that mouth of yours” he said smirking

 What the hell!!! this was it.

Fuck Mafia or anything , I had to show this guy his place,I let out a stifled laugh.

“haha,sorry I don’t f**k walking STDS” I said smirking back at him & raising up an eyebrow

I heard instant shocked expressions , now his face look genuinely angered.

I kept smirking , I know a few badass comebacks for egotistical bullies like him ,get that asshole.

“you ll regret this , mark my words , I will make your life Miserable” He said in that same dangerous tone & I would be 

a f*****g liar if I said I didn't shiver in fear .

oh Lisa what did you get  into now, I lamented within .

“oh my f*****g bananas!!” I heard a slight shriek from a girl 

I turned over & saw a girl , a bit taller than me , with really dark brown hair .

she had green eyes & pale white skin with pink lips , she was beautiful. 

“Did you just f*****g talk back to Chess Reece?” she said in a slightly shocked but amused tone.

well so that was the asshole's name.

“uhm..,” I was unsure of what to say

“Girl! , I like u already.” she grinned putting her  arm over her  my shoulder .

“Yea , me too , but you ve got to be careful now,” another girl walked up to us & said.

she was really pretty & cute.

she kinda reminded me of Lennie , 

she had baby black eyes with brown long slightly wavy hair . 

“I'm Iris by the way,” she said.

 “and I'm Gwen but you can call me Gwenny ,only because I like u.” the girl with green coloured eye said smiling & flipping her hair.

I could already tell she's a drama queen.

“Hi , I'm Lisa.” I said smiling at them ,even though I was still a bit shocked

was I actually making friends?

“love your hair” Gwen said touching it .... “from now on , we are gonna be great friends” she said jumping while clapping her hands &  twirling

“come on Lis twirl with me,yay!”

“oh Gwen stop being a drama queen” 

Iris said rolling her eyes , but  smiling 

She took my arm & then the twirling Gwen who slightly pout

“now come on , let's give the new girl a tour & then head to the cafeteria , I'm hungry” Iris said now pouting , I laughed .

“Iris ,you re always hungry” Gwen said laughing & we all joined her as we made our way through the corridors.
