We arrived at the resort & Gosh this place is beautiful .

“wow this place is dope.” I said smiling ...

“yea ,alright then ,let’s go in.” Danny said .

we walked inside then we met the doorman , he instructed us to drop the tally the school had given us as a sign of identification , write our name & the time we arrived indicating we ve checked in & then pick a room keycard.

He explained further that the room could be shared with whoever we chose , we did all that.

Me , Iris & Lisa were definitely going to be staying together , I picked a keycard & Danny picked his , then he waved us goodbye & walked towards the elevator probably leading to the rooms .

This place was massive ,I turned to Iris to see her face all red now

“Girl ,you looked like u are gonna explode any minute soon ,someone’s got a crush.” I sang out while grinning,she glared daggers at me , i laughed , then I remembered Lisa.

“Lis should either be here already or on her way,let me call her.” I said to Iris dialing Lisa’s number,it was switched off , her battery must have ran out .

“I’m not sure she’s here yet , we can confirm from the doorman though.” Iris said .

we walked towards the doorman.

“excuse us pls,we just want to confirm if our friend ve checked in yet , her name is Lisa Lex.” I explained to him , he nodded & checked the register , he shook his head .

“no ,her name isn’t here , she probably hasn’t arrived.” he said

“well then ,you re always here right?” I asked ,

he nodded .

“please then , if she comes , can u direct her to our room ? just tell her , her friends Iris & Gwen are in there.” I told him showing him the room keycard which also had our room number . He nodded.

“thank u.” I smiled then took my suitcase & Lisa’s , Iris did same & we walked towards the elevator .

We got to the 5th floor , that’s the floor where our room was , *room 207* , we slid the keycard on the space provided at the side of the door & got in.

“Wow.” Me & Iris exclaimed together .

The room was like a mini house ,almost like a penthouse to be precise .

It was big!, with a massive fluffy like bed ,well arranged,the closet almost had the size of my room,there was a f*****g jacuzzi in the bathroom & the glass cabinet above the bathtub was filled with all kinds of male & female toiletries , they probably assumed it might be a male & a female sharing the room .

I wondered if all the other rooms were like this or we just got lucky ,the balcony was spacious & it had flowers , Lisa was going to love it . I looked down from the balcony to see a wide pool , this place is going to be fun , I grinned.

Chess POV

I slowed down my car when I saw a female figure waving towards me like a crazy fellow , what is she doing here in this rain? .

she probably noticed I slowed down & started walking towards me , how am I sure she isn’t a criminal , she kept walking rubbing her hands down her arms.

wait ,I know ....Lisa?

what the heck is she doing around here drenched in rain ?.... this was amusing .

I rolled the front passenger window down as she now jogged towards me .

“thank u so much for stopping , thank u so...much...” she said panting .

The look on her face was priceless when she finally looked into the car through the window.

“Chess!!!” She shrieked.

I smirked ,now this is interesting .

“oh no,” she said groaning .

“aww,someone is pleased to see me.” I said grinning , she rolled her eyes .

“so what are u doing here anyways , I don’t remember this being the route to the resort.” I asked .

“none of your business.” she said , I think trying to sound harsh but it just came out shakily probably because of cold .

“well , since it’s none of my business , I should probably leave u here to die of cold.” I smirked & started moving my car .

I could see from the side mirror as she bit her lip probably deciding on what to do , I smirked harder .

“Chess!” She called out my name ,I laughed & then reversed my car to where she was .

“uhm ,can you give me a ride?” she said lowly , fiddling with her fingers .

“what’s that , I didn’t hear that.” I said smirking , of course I heard it , but I wasn’t gonna be that easy .

“Chess please oh please , give me a ride.” She said angrily now , I laughed

“alright,but on one condition,you ve to call me your life saver.” I said smiling .

“what!no way!” She huffed & turned away folding her arms .

“alright then.” I said & started my car again .

“Ok ok!fine!....you are my life saver” she said boringly rolling her eyes .

I laughed , “of course I am ,get in.” I said

“dick.” she muttered as she entered the car .

“I heard that.” I said .

“you were supposed to.” she said rolling her eyes .

I started my car & drove down the road to Bora where the resort was located , soon I got there .

I saw the large , crescent resort sign , on top of the entrance gate decorated with neon lights , which shone brightly because it was night already.

I drove in & parked my car , then turned to see Lisa fast asleep , the f**k!.
