Amanda felt a lump in her heart because of Max's cold tone and could hardly stop herself from crying, to ask him in a painful tone : Why do you multiply the distance between us more instead of explaining your position to me, Max ? I have the right to get angry because you lied to me and really trusted you, but you have to do something to please me, don't act like what i'm thinking doesn't concern you, please

She waited a little in front of the door until she thought he wouldn't open it, and the moment she was about to leave he finally opened it, he seemed very sick to her and said in a tired voice : I care about everything you think of me Amanda, i just wanted to give you some time so that

He couldn't finish his sentence because of his illness and immediately fell to the ground unconscious, and the last thing he heard was Amanda's voice screaming his name anxiously

After some time Max was on the bed unconscious from illness while Amanda beside him wet his forehead with a damp cloth to reduce his body temperatule, later dipped it in the bowl of cold water next to her and then placed it on Max's forehead again. Suddenly he opened his eyes slowly and smiled tiredly when he found her next to him to ask her in a semi-audible voice : Are you worried about me ?

Amanda answered him in a low frowning voice : You are my husband, of course i will worry about you, you idiot

Max smiled lovingly and wrapped his arms around her body to bury his head in her lap and sincerely apologized to her : I'm sorry i lied to you, but i really love you and i don't want to lose you, please give me another chance

Amanda kept staring at the void silently not knowing what she should really do now, she was afraid that she would weaken in front of him and forgive him, so she pushed him harshly and ran quickly outside to leave him where he followed her with his sad looks then whispers to himself in a painful tone : The one who betrayed you and lied to you, it's not me Amanda. Matthew parked his car in a mountainous place at the top in front of the real max, which was leaning against his waist on the front hood smiling sarcastically at him

The real matthew got out of his car and drove to him with sharp features indicating his anger. He stood directly in front of him, about two meters away, and asked in annoyance : Why did you ask to see me in this place max ?

Max smiled sarcastically and answered in a provocative tone : Why is this question my dear freind matthew ? Didn't i always ask to see you in this place ? Or is the day different from the previous times ?

Matthew angrily : I do not have time to waste with you speak briefly

Max straightened his stance and approached him with purposeful steps, saying with provocative calm : But you have time to waste with my lover

Matthew pressed hard on his fist trying to control his nerves and prevented himself from hitting max's face to utter nonsense, then answered sharply : Amanda and i are just freinds

Max with a provocative calm : You are a freind to her, but as for you ..

He finished his sentence with a cunning smile that was enough for matthew to understand what he meant, so he answers him with annoyance : Yes, it is true. I love amanda, but i do not nothing to get her love, not because i am unable to, but because she loves you and her desire to stay with you and i respect her desire so much

Max sarcastically : Oh ! My freind is interested in my love more than me, i am really affected

Matthew sharply : You don't deserve amanda's love, i know that you are in a relationship with your secretary jacqueline

Max seriously : Yes, you are right, i don't deserve amanda's love because i love jacqueline and i deserve to be with her and you can't do anything about that. And whenever w dead can could do something

He smiled provocatively and took a knife from his belt to hit mattew's face quickly, he hit him vertically from his eyebrow down to his left cheek

Matthew held the wound, preserving his sharp gaze to max who continued his words sarcastically : You really are very stupid matthew, despite knowing my truth, you trusted me so blindly that you would sign even your death warrant if i asked. My company is constant decline while your company ranks first in the world in architecture but not anymore, with your stupidity and my superintelligence, i managed to take over your company to save mine and destroy yours. As for you, you will die like dogs here and no one will find you because you will be food for animals, i am really sorry of them for this filthy corpse that i will give them today

He raised his knife again to hit matthew but he quickly attacked him and grabbed the knife in his hand to answer sharply : You are right, i was ready even to sign my death warrant if you asked me to do, but not because of my stupidity, but because i trusted you so much, i trusted you to the point that i would sacrifice my company to save yours and my love for your happiness, but not anymore, because i decided not to sacrifice something for you, but rather i sacrifice you for myself

He pushed him hard after he took the knife from him to bounce the other back involuntarily. He threw it on the ground and added sharply : I will not kill you in such a cowardly manner as this, we will have a just quarrel and whoever survives gets everything

Max bitten his teeth irritably and attacked matthew while shouting angrily : We will see who would sacrifice the other

He was trying to hit matthew with all his strenght and the other fend off his blows and defend himself to get their quarrels more intense, and in the end the victory was for matthew who dropped max on the ground writhing with pain. Matthew looked at him with malice and said : You do not deserve even to bind my hands with your dirty blood, i will leave alive, not because i could not kill you, but because i don't want amanda to hate me because of a villain like you

He turned his back to leave and heads towards his car followed by max's malevolent glances, and it seems that he will not surrender so easily, and painfully he standed from his place and ran towards his car to drive it like a crazy and pushing matthew's car from behind while he shouting in a malevolent tone : Only one person would get out of here alive either i or you

He was doing everthing he could to make matthew's car fall from the foothills, and matthew was doing nothing except trying to control his car, but he was unable to do so he found his car at the edge between the ground and the air, it was moving unbalaced and this made him feel a little anxious that his end was near. It became between him and death only one second in which max tries to push his car again with the same force, but before he does it the last time he pulls his head out of the window saying in a loud sarcastic voice : Farewell, my freind, i promise you to put cactus on your grave at least once a year

He laughed at the top of his voice, then straightened in his sitting again to finish what began. He pushed matthew's car strongly until it finally fell of the cliff but his car became its place between ground and the air, but this did not matter to him as long as he heard the sound of matthew's car explosion, so he smiled with a victory

He tried to return his car back but the engine stopped suddenly, he tried a lot but to no avail, so he decided to get off the car himself but his foot was stuck between the brakes and he couldn't move it. At that moment matthew appeared over the rocks trying to climb to the edge until he succeeded in that.

Max turned to him and shouted anxiously : Matthew, i'm sorry, please help me. I promise i'll leave Amanda and i won't bother you anymore. Just help me please

Matthew moved his foot a little to help him but he froze again after remembering how Max had tried to kill him a little while ago, so he stayed in his place watching the car that fell off the cliff and exploded with an emotionless face
