The person holds me in place, refusing to let go for once. My stomach churns again, and this time, I can't control my body or my emotions. He sighs and lifts me to my feet, setting me on the couch. All the while, my hands and feet keep trembling in fright. I can still remember that night etched into my brain. “Calm down, baby, drink up.”
