ATLAS I paced about the room, dialing Elena’s number for about the hundredth time. And it got directed to the same place, again. Voicemail. I let out an agitated groan, running a hand through my hair impatiently. “Are you going to tell me what the problem is?” Keelan demanded, watching me under hooded eyes. “What has got you so worked up?” “Her calls keep going straight to voicemails,” I ground out, my jaw twitching, and his eyes swept across the length and breadth of the room. “Where is she?” He didn’t need to ask who I was talking about. “I don’t know man,” I sighed, gripping the phone tightly in my fingers. “I just woke up and..and she was gone.” I paused, scratching my jaw. “And my father has just informed me of a meeting scheduled for twelve noon. My presence is mandatory.
