“You did what?” Chris yelled at me again and I pulled the phone away from my ear. I should go to the hospital to give a check on my ear drums now. With all his screaming and yelling near my ear, I was sure that it must have affected my hearing. I put the phone on my ear again after a few seconds. “You heard me right, Chris… I told her about my feelings two days ago and now she is on guard around me as if I would eat her alive if she let her guard down”.
