Animesh's pov "Wow! You have an amazing skills. Are you a professional guitar player?" I smiled listening to the voice that had became the source of peace for me from past few days. So my baby butterfly knew how to talk. I so wanted to turn around but stopped myself knowing that she will again be a mute butterfly after watching my face. How much I desired to listen my butterfly's carefree blabberings! I stayed silent while she was impatient to know the answer. I can feel her rapid heart beat which was a sweet melody for me. "Are you mute? I am sorry if I have hurted your feelings. It's fine, I can understand sign language too." She said after thinking for sometime. I still didn't turn around. I could spend my whole life listening to her voice. It's ok, if I couldn't admire her beauty through my eyes. "If you want, you can write in a paper too. I mean if you want only. I am not forcing you." She said, peeping behind my back to see my guitar, but her petty figure didn't support her and she lost her balance. She was about to fall when I turned around to catch her. She closed her eyes in fear and embarrasment expecting herself to find in the ground, not knowing the fact that I could never ever let her fall. I held her waist to support her and she circled her hands around my neck to take support, still closing her eyes. I smiled at her childshness. She opened her eyes after feeling herself safe and damn... My world stopped right there only. I drowned myself into her ocean blue eyes. It was impossible for me to move my gaze from her. I observed every inch of the serenic beauty standing in front of me, so close to see and admire. Even she didn't move her gaze. All the senses of ours stopped working for a temporary period of time, except the eyes. We were breathing, but it was not known to us. I watched her round face, round jaw line and chin. I never admired her this closely. I could feel my weird heart beats, but it was nothing in front of her captivating eyes. All I wanted at that moment was the time to be stopped, and my eyes to absorb every inch of her face. The more I looked into her eyes, the more I lost myself inside them. Finally after a few minutes, the college bell rang loudly breaking our trance. I made her stand comfortably on the ground. And again she was back to her mute butterfly mode. She composed herself and moved away from me. I lost my patience when she looked at the ground without saying anything. "Is the ground looks more attractive to you than my face?" I sarcastically asked. "Yeah." She replied absent mindly. "Ohh really!" I said taking my step towards her making her move in a reverse direction. "So the ground seems more attractive to you more than my face?" I asked going dangerously close to her. "Yeah. The ground is attractive. It has green grasses and colourful flowers on it. Isn't it enough to attract someone?" She said with a smile looking at the ground. I could assume that she was truly admiring the nature, that's why she forgot about my existence and freely expressed her thoughts. How much I wanted her to blabber her feelings to me like this with all her senses on! Suddenly she ran towards a particular direction waving at something. I followed her to find an amazing view. A butterfly on my butterfly's palm, A eye-catching scene to watch! I secretly clicked a picture of hers and moved near her to start my favourite work, that was to admire my butterfly and her cute antics. "Look how beautiful this is!" She said indicating the butterfly. "Yes! Breathtakingly  beautiful." I said looking at her face. "I was saying about the butterfly." She said noticing my constant gaze on herself. "I said about my butterfly." She blushed listening to my voice. My heart fluttered in joy. I made my step towards her. She moved her steps in a backward direction till her back dashed into the wall. There was no space behind her to move. She was about to move forward when I blocked her path. Her eyes didn't move an inch from my sight. I rested my hand on the wall and mentally prepared myself to express my feelings. "Janu! Honestly I don't have any idea about how, when and why? All I know is that I want you beside me forever. I want to share my all happiness with you. I want to take away all your pain. If this is what people called love, then yes, I am madly in love with you." I moved closer and starred into her eyes. "You know, Your blue eyes are like the captivating ocean, I always looked deep inside to find the hidden love inside it. But all I get, is some layers of confusion. I am not blaming you for not reciprocating my feelings. It's your life, your decision, Whether you love me or not, I will always love you. I will try all my life to remove these layers of confusion from your eyes. I won't bug you unnecessarily. I understand your situation and respect your opinion, but the day your eyes will reflect same love and madness as mine, That day you have to be mine forever. No force will have the power to repel us from each other." I confessed my feelings, not for a second even she moved her eyes from mine. "Janu!" I said in a little loud voice breaking her trance. "Yes." She whispered. "Say something." I too whispered in a same way. She looked at her both side, then my face for sometime as if finding something, then shooked her head. "What are you searching?" I asked innocently. "Nothing. I was looking at... Your watch. Yes, your watch is so beautiful." From her stuttering voice, I could identify that she was actually lying, and I knew the truth, she was trying to hide, all thanks to her dancing eyeballs, that was covered with fear to be caught. "Ohh." I made an 'O' shaped mouth. "Yes, I guess, It's time of college to be closed. I have to go now. Bye." She hurriedly spoke and started to evasive, but I stopped her holding her right hand. She didn't turn around, but I could feel her heartbeat increasing to a level where I could hear it clearly. When her cold hand came in contact with my warm palms, both of us stiffened. Soon I composed myself. "I am glad that you find my watch beautiful. Then the thing you tried to find inside my pocket is in my bag. And the thing you wanted to see in my hand is something I never did." I said as if stating a secret. "Which thing?" She immediately questioned in order to hide her little secret from me. "My ID card, that was in my bag and a tattoo of my name that was never on my hand." I said as if guessing an intriguing suspense. "Why will I find them?" She tried to avoid my teasing by her questions. "Ok, fine then. You can go." I said leaving her hand and turned around. Now both of us were standing at our back facing each other. I smiled when she didn't move an inch from her place. "Animesh Singh Shekhawat." I said. "What?" She asked with confusion layering on her voice. "My name." I said and she shied away. I turned around to face her when she took long steps to escape from further teasing. "Oh, my butterfly! Fly as much as you want, in the end you will come to me only." I confidently said to myself as I had already seen the glimpse of the hidden layer of love lying in her eyes under the layer of confusions. I put the guitar in its bag and circled its belt around my shoulder. The day had already became memorable for me with so many unexpected surprises. The smile was not leaving my face for a single second. I took my step towards the direction to exit. I was murmuring a song while walking on the empty corrider. Suddenly, My steps halted listening to two a familiar voice. Owner of both these voices were very well known to me, the only difference was, one was very close to my heart, whom I wanted to keep beside me, while other one was someone, whom I didn't want in anywhere near me. I followed the direction of the voice to reach near the middle of the corridor where Janu was standing. Her face was covered by the lady standing in front of her, facing her back towards me. It was not difficult for me to find out who the lady was! The only one related to the Excellence University whom I didn't like a bit. I increased my pace to reach near them. They were talking with smiles on their face. In a exceptional case, I wanted to wipe this smile from my Janu's face. "Janu..havi, Janhavi Mishra!" I shouted reaching near them. Janu sheivered listening to my high pitched voice. But, my gaze didn't move from the face of the another lady, who turned around and gasped seeing me. "Let's go." I dragged Janu holding her hands while she was too shocked to ask anything. Her eyes were again layered with the same confusion, While mine was covered with dislike to notice the change in her eyes.
