“He’s impossible,” Macey sighed, rolling her eyes at her sister-in-law. “All DaLair men are,” Rose chuckled. “And they have the love language of a crow. They just love giving sparkly gifts.” While the DaLair men generally didn’t like to flaunt their wealth. Their tastes were generally conservative, avoiding ornate accessories. However, when it came to their significant others, they were not shy about buying them all sorts of sparkling ornaments. Rose had a jewelry box full of such gifts, most of which she hadn’t worn more than once. Over the years, she put several items up for auction for various charities and causes. Thankfully, March had slowed down his gift-giving frenzy, but the way he looked at the necklace made Rose certain a new set would soon find its way into her collection.
