The only thing that had changed in two days’ time was the guard’s rotations. The increased training sessions had taken its toll on each group that was left defending the kingdom, there were more new faces in the groups, than there had been before we left for the surface. Each eager to finally protect the kingdom they had called home, the women who had joined showed the most promise to be kept after the war as regular guards for the kingdom. These small changes of inclusiveness were only the noticeable changes that had been made around the kingdom since I had been crowned as queen.
