The shouting of the guards had magnified the intense curiosities of everyone who had manifested themselves on the outer edges of the kings’ private chambers. Crowding around Kira and I trying to get a better look at what was going on. The shoving and pushing of people to enter, shoved Kira and myself forward into one of the elderly guards. Who turned around shouting at us, “Back up no one is to enter, you heard us the first time!”
“Sir, I highly suggest that you remember who you are. You may be one of the royal guards, but I am a noble lady, with a higher rank than you. If you would kindly look behind us and see that people are continuing to shove us into you, feel free to take it up with them, instead of us.” I reply coldly staring into the gentleman’s eyes.
