C21: Leaving It All Behind
Alpha Elmore stepped into the room, his gaze sharp as it moved between the two girls.
Luna Indira followed behind him. They had intended to meet Raine before she would leave for the palace only to meet this scene.
“What is going on here?” he asked again, his tone firm.
Alice was quick to speak, her voice trembling slightly. “Father… she attacked me,” she said, pointing at Raine.
Raine let out a quiet breath, her hands clenched at her sides. “She struck me first,” she replied calmly.
Luna Indira stepped forward immediately. “You dare raise your hand against your sister?” she snapped.
Before Raine could say anything else, a sharp slap landed across her face. The force pushed her slightly to the side, but she remained standing.
