Earlier that day, Raine was returning to her quarters with Liya after their training ended.
Tomorrow would be the last day of training, Raine felt relief yet she was already missing training.
She walked quietly beside Liya.
She had not worn the emerald necklace again after training.
They rounded a corner and immediately saw a familiar blonde female standing ahead.
Raine's mood dropped instantly.
Maya scoffed the moment she saw them.
Raine clenched her fists tightly. She silently prayed Maya would simply walk away and mind her business for once.
Unfortunately, Maya was not one to mind her lane.
The female stepped directly into her path, once more. Raine stopped walking while Liya frowned beside her.
Maya's eyes slowly moved over Raine from head to toe.
