C24: First Day At The Lycan Palace
Raine slept soundly that night.
The next morning, she woke up to a slight shake. She frowned and rubbed her eyes before turning to the side.
It was Liya.
“Why are you here?” Raine asked softly, her voice still heavy with sleep.
Then she paused, the memory returned quickly.
They were no longer in the Silver Pack.
They were in the Lycan Kingdom and Liya had been assigned to her.
Raine sighed softly and sat up. “I forgot,” she added quietly.
Liya lowered her head slightly. “My lady, it is time to get ready,” she said.
Raine nodded and got out of bed.
She went to bathe, letting the cool water wake her fully. After she was done, she dressed in a simple but neat red dress that complemented her hair.
