UNEXPECTED DISSAPPEARANCE PART 2 After the call with the police... The silence inside the trailer feels heavier than ever. No answers. No leads. Just questions… eating them alive. Then, footsteps outside. Soft. Carefree. The door opens. Two girls step in. Maria and Angeliki (neighbors). They don’t say a word at first. They just sit beside the boys. The tension is thick. Uncomfortable. Finally... Maria: “What happened?” Angeliki: “Do you… need help?” The boys exchange looks. After a brief, distant explanation, the girls understand enough. And without hesitation. They offer to join them. The boys step aside. Kostas thinks carefully, weighing everything. They don’t really know these girls. Trust isn’t easy. Panos, on the other hand, is already convinced. Panos: “The more, the better. We learn from mistakes anyway.” Nikos grins. Nikos: “Plus… having girls around might improve the vibe.” Eventually Kostas exhales. Kostas: “Fine.” The girls light up, smiling. They kiss the boys on the cheek and leave the trailer. The Next Morning The sea is calm. The sun is bright. A perfect day. The whole neighborhood is outside, and it becomes obvious: This place is full of teenagers. Almost no adults. Then... Maria and Angeliki approach. Wet hair. Swimsuits. Kostas freezes for a second—caught off guard by Angeliki. There’s something about her… effortless, real. He hides it with a quick dive into the water. Panos notices. Smirks. They exchange a silent laugh. The girls brought something. A boat. Old. White. Slightly worn. Convertible-style, with a small engine. It could barely fit seven people—but it floats. That’s enough. Panos, thanks to his grandfather—a former captain—steps in to check it. He asks Maria a few basic questions, then takes it out for a quick test in the shallow waters. It works. When he returns— Excitement explodes. Hope… mixed with tension. They start planning how to reach the next village. Boat? Van? Before they decide... Thunder. A loud c***k across the sky. The weather turns instantly. They rush inside the trailer, turning on the old TV. The signal barely works, until Nikos hits it twice. Static. Then a voice. “Two days of nonstop storm. Stay indoors.” Silence. Then— Panos sneezes. Nikos: “Yeah… we’re screwed.” Angeliki: “Relax. We’ll figure something out.” Panos sneezes again. Kostas: “Bro… you good?” Panos: “I… don’t think so.” Maria searches frantically. Maria: “Where the hell is the thermometer?!” Nikos: “Right in front of you! Next to the apples, been there since last year!” Maria: “You guys are unbelievable…” She checks his temperature. 38.9°C. Panos exhales weakly. Panos: “Yeah… I’m not okay.” Kostas helps him to bed. Kostas: “Rest. We move when you’re better.” Panos doesn’t answer. His eyes slowly close. Too slowly. Back in the main area, they try to think. Nothing works. The girls have to leave, their parents are worried. They agree to meet again once the storm passes. Two Days Later The storm is gone. But it leaves destruction behind. The van? Ruined. The tires destroyed. The interior flooded. Gone. That leaves one option. The boat. But the boys hesitate. Too exposed. Too risky. One bad storm—and it’s over. Then— Angeliki: “My brother owns a car lot… We might find something there. If anything survived.” That’s all it takes. They run. Most of the cars are wrecked. Broken. Flooded. Useless. Except one. A sports car. Two-seater. Sleek. Powerful. Left outside the lot… untouched. Keys still inside. They don’t hesitate. They take it. Back at the trailer—they slap on fake plates. Now— They’re ready. And the Journey Begins They load their gear. Start the engine. And drive. Minutes pass. The mood stays light—but focused. They’re close now. The Next Village They arrive. Two choices: Search the coastline Search inside the village Kostas doesn’t hesitate. Kostas: “Coastline. The rich areas.” The girls disagree. Maria: “The poor are more desperate. More likely.” Still... They follow Kostas. The Rich Coast Luxury everywhere. Private docks. Boats. Perfect houses. They park under trees and set up camp. This is their base now. But it’s too late to search. They rest... Night falls. In the distance— Music. Loud. Chaotic. A party. Panos notices. Panos: “Let’s go check it out.” No one wants to. So... He goes alone. As he gets closer, the noise grows louder. Then he sees it. A massive circle of people. All ages. Celebrating. Screaming. Gunshots echo—into the air. Inside the circle They welcome him. Too warmly. Too strangely. Drunk faces. Torn clothes. Missing teeth. Something isn’t right. Still— He blends in. For a while. Then he finds someone… normal. Panos: “What are you celebrating?” Man: “The Festival of the Weapon. Every year. Keeps us safe… and destroys us at the same time.” Panos freezes. The man leans closer. Man: “We honor the old mayor who made it law.” Panos’ face changes. Fear. Real fear. Before leaving... The man hands him something. Something small. Panos hides it. And runs. He returns to the group. Says nothing. Lies down. Pretends everything is normal. But it’s not...
