Chapter 14

We’re at the Cebu because it is beautiful daw here and many people visits here. We roam around, eat some foods, take selfies and enjoy the moment. It really has many tourist spots here and dahil sa dami nakakalimutan ko na ang iba. We will just spend 3 days here tapos sa Cagayan or Davao naman kami sunod.

“Nakakapagod pero nakakaenjoy din po.” Reniella said while we were still waiting on our food here in the restaurant.

“Si Axe parang hindi sporty, madali na siyang manghina!” I said.

“Bakit Lee? May sakit kaba?” Mom asked.

“Wala po Tita, matagal tagal nadin po kasi ako hindi nakapaglaro.” he said.

Our order arrived and it’s really really good. It’s our last day on Cebu so we just explore so many experiences para naman walang masayang na oras.

“Sa Cagayan tayo bukas kids.” Mom said.

“Okay mom, we will sleep now kasi maaga nanaman bukas. Good night Mommy.” I said.

“Touch down Cagayan!” Axe excitedly said pagkarating namin sa airport.

“Wow! Ang init talaga sa Pinas huhu.” Ella said.

“Wow ha parang hindi nasanay.” I responded tsaka sinapak siya sa braso.

“Let’s go na kids! Bukas nalang muna tayo mag roam kasi pagod na ako.’’ Mom said.

“Okay po Tita, nakakapagod po talaga.” Axe replied.

As usual, nandito nanaman kasi sa condo ni Ella. We just did some tiktoks kasi nice daw yung outfit namin. We asked permission kay Mom na bibili muna kami ng mga damit kasi paulit ulit nalang yung damit namin. Sinabihan ko si Axe but he decline kasi pagod daw siya. So kami nalang ni Ella ang nandito sa Ayala. Alam niyo guys, ito pala ang feeling pag napapalibutan ka ng mga taong hindi mo alam ang sinasabi nila kasi Bisaya yung language nila dito tapos ako hindi naman namin alam.

“Nakakaleft-out naman dito, wala man lang tayong naiintidihan sa mga sinasabi nila.” Reniella ranted.

“Okay lang naman yan, as long as naco-communicate parin natin sila.” sabi ko.

We just shop here some clothes and stuffs kasi nauubusan na kami ng damit. Reniella said that she is hungry so she just buy pizza for us two that’s why I waited here at the seats in the food court but I saw a familiar face and I didn’t expect that we will meet here……

“Nath Draken! Omygosh you’re here!” I hurriedly said.

“Zylezia! I didn’t expect that you’re here.” Nath replied. “Mom, remember Zia? She’s my friend where I met in Siargao!” He added.

“Hi Zia, it’s glad that we met you kasi I just know your name kaya nga pinagalitan ko si Nath dahil hindi man lang niya ako pinakilala sayo nung nasa Boracay.” His mom said.

“Hello po Tita, well nagkita narin po tayo and I’m so happy po.” I said.

“Taga Cagayan pala kayo?” His Mom said.

“Hindi po, we just also visited here po kasi we decided to travel naman minsan.” I replied.

“Mag-usap muna tayo hija. Gusto pa kita kilalanin eh.” Tita Cristal said.

“Sure po!” I responded.

We talked about where we live and they want to join us on our travel here that’s why I brought them to the hotel where we stayed right now and let Mom and Tita Cristal talked. Reniella is so annoying because she said that who is Nath and she think she has crush on Nath kasi gwapo daw. Axe, Reniella and Nath gathered here in my room because we wanted to give them privacy.

“Well Nath saan ba talaga kayo nakatira?” I asked.

“Sa Tagaytay Zia, kayo?” He responded.

“Sa Antipolo talaga kami but something happened kaya lumipat kami sa Baguio.” I answered.

“Well we can visit you in the Baguio Zia. May farm doon yung lola ko kaya send me your address.” Nath said kaya nashock sila Axe at Ella kasi parang sobrang close talaga kami.

“Wow ha! Zia ano bang kailangan namin malaman?” Reniella said habang nakapamewang pa.

“Relax guys noh! We just met 5 years ago yeah and nagkasundo kami that’s why. He’s my one most precious friend. Right Nath?” I explained.

“I’ll introduced you nalang! Nath, this is Axe, he’s my boybestfriend and I’m sure magkakasundo kayo kasi hindi to friendly si Axe sa mga boys! But he’s not bakla ha? And this is Reniella, she’s an ordinary girl and also my friend and I think kilala niyo naman si Nath but he’s name talaga is Nath Draken. Let’s be friends!” I added then I hugged them all.

Reniella and Axe said that they will just take a bath but I know na gusto talaga nila na mag-usap kami ni Nath kaya umalis sila at kami nalang naiwan sa room ko.

“Well Zia! How are you na? May nangyari ba?” He immediately asked.

“Okay lang naman Drake. You?” I asked.

“Same to you! Did you found it na?” he asked.

“I guess I found some pieces na and I think that “Just enjoy the life and live what you wanted to do. Do not force anything and do not expect too much”. I said.

“You don’t need to rush Zia. Life is short but do not rush anything.” He replied.

We called it a night and I was about to sleep na but someone knocked on my door. Hay nako si Reniella gusto talaga makipagchika.

“Girl bukas kana makipagchika kasi inaantok na ako.” saad ko sa kanya tapos sinapak siya.

“Ayoko! Baka bukas hindi muna matuloy yang chika mo! Sige na chika na.” Ella really force me kaya wala na akong choice.

I just shared about how we met and itong Ella to nagtanong pa talaga kung crush ko ba si Nath! Issue talaga tong babae to kaya pinaalis ko nalang.

I woke up because Mom call me because pupunta daw kami sa Amaya, yung overlooking place daw. I had no choice but to take a bath nalang kasi maaga pa talaga kami.

“Good morning Zia! How’s your day?” Nath said when I went to the dining area tapos itong si Reniella, may pangiti ngiti pa! Maissue talaga itong babaeng to!

“Hello po Tita and good morning din Nath! Okay lang naman, inaantok lang ako kasi may chismosa kagabi.” I replied.

“Tita Yellie, saan po tayo susunod?” Axe said after nabored siya kakaphone.

“Hindi ko alam pero ang closest dito ay Iligan City daw!” Mom replied while driving.

“Mom? What you and Tita Cristal talked about?” I asked her kasi napakatagal nila mag-usap kahapon.

“Some stuffs lang honey! Alam mo ba, bestfriend ko siya noon pa, junior high school. We’re supposedly trio nga but it never works kasi if mag close ang dalawa, mafefeel out of place yung isa kaya natigil kaya kami nalang ni Cristal ang nagsama. Siya din yung taong kilala yung Dad mo at siya yung taong nasasandalan ko. Salamat anak kasi nakilala mo si Nath kasi nakita ko ulit yung taong nandiyan talaga para sakin.” Mom responded kaya nashock ako.

After the rain, there’s always a rainbow pala. Akalain mo nakita ulit ni Mom yung bestfriend niya, yung totoong taong nakakaintindi sa kanya at yung taong nasasandigan niya. Napaisip din ako na sa dami kong kaibigan ay si Axe lang talaga at si Reniella yung nandito pero ayaw kong mag-isip nang ganiyan kasi nasanay na ako na “ You always answer when they call but they never answer when you reach out” and I think I will not force them to be with me and I will never resent them. Let’s just be happy.
