“Zia? Anong plan mo sa birthday mo?” tanong ni Tita.
“Ewan ko po, bahala na kung ano ang ganap ate.” sagot ko.
“Bahala ka, ako nalang magdedecide kung anong handa kasi parang ako ang may birthday!” reklamo niya.
“Sige ate! Happy birthday!” I said para mas mainis pa siya.
Tomorrow is my birthday and I am expecting to only have a simple celebration and I think I’ll just invite some of my friends. I know that tomorrow’s celebration is always Mom’s idea that’s why I don’t have any choice but to follow. We’re going to be 16 tomorrow, excited for another chapter but it makes us terrified.
“Zia, invite your friends here and let our driver know that he will pick them up tomorrow early.” Mom ordered.
“Yes mom, do not do something grand, okay?” I said.
